Born: November 22, 2024 I am seeking my forever home! Adoption Donation: $600 My litter includes: Chester, Iggy, Lenny, and Sloan All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Meet Nellie Nellie, a Great Pyrenees, joined BAARK when her owner was no longer able to care for himself, much less her. As such, she was in pretty rough physical condition when she was surrendered, but clearly had received plenty of attention and love. Nellie is estimated to be 7-8 years old and weighs about 80 lbs. When meeting new people, Nellie is a little shy at first. We believe that this is because she had very little exposure to new people when with her previous owner. However, in her foster home, with patience and, in following the lead of her new canine friends, Nellie has really blossomed. She now gives kisses and lots of tail wags when her foster mom and dad get home from work. She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. In typical Great Pyr fashion, she loves patrolling the fence line and she is especially in tune to large birds flying overhead. Her foster family appreciates her level of alert, as Nellie watches over her much smaller foster brother and sisters in the home. Nellie is housebroken and is just fine being un-crated at home by herself. Nellie joined our rescue organization back in June. She is just becoming available for adoption as she has a long recovery from a mass removal on her paw pad (benign). She has 3 toes on that paw but gets around just fine. Nellie is in overall great health. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative. Currently going through a divorce/moving. Kai is an amazing dog we had him since he was 10 weeks old, he is so sweet with people and kids. He is a big boy and he is only a year and a half, we love him so much but the current circumstances do not allow us to keep him. He is a happy go lucky dog, friendly, he is a little rambunctious but I feel he just needs the extra attention. He loves to cuddle and he loves going to the groomers. I definitely feel he would do well with someone who loves large breed dogs and has experience with them. He was living in a house with two other dogs and he loved laying with them and playing with them. I just hope he can make someone else really happy like he made us.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Victor, He is an 20 month old Pyrenees/Hound mix! Victor is a BIG boy! Victor is a sweet, smart, and inquisitive guy. He picks up on household routines quickly and just wants to be involved with whatever is going on around him. He enjoys affection and will seek out pets by leaning against you or putting his head on your arm or leg. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. He is still young, so he does need some more practice/training with leash walking, recall, and a few basic manners. However, he learns fast and is very treat motivated (and he takes treats very nicely!) He enjoys puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and other enrichment items. He will sometimes carry around stuffed dog toys or chase balls, but he has more of an interest in tougher toys and bones that he can chew on. He does tend to get bored easily, which can lead to some mischievous behavior. But with daily exercise, enrichment activities, and chew toys, he becomes very relaxed and content. Despite his size, he's gentle with people and greets strangers well. He would probably do best with older kids though, as he might accidentally knock over little kids when he gets excited. He has a great temperament with other dogs and would thrive with a dog companion to play with. He loves to play “chase” in the yard, wrestle around, and play tug of war with his foster brother.
