Harry is a wonderful pup that was found wandering in the Galveston community. He has adjusted to the routine of his fosters home easily, is potty trained, leash trained, and absolutely loves riding in the car. He knows some simple commands, sit/down/come and working on learning others. He has done well when walked in the park with the distraction of a lot of people and their dogs, and he handled it very well. Harry is playful, loyal, has a very sweet disposition, loves pets & cuddles, and being near his people.

Yogi Bear is a super sweet puppy. She loves to play with the big dogs and her siblings and give kisses to her people. This sweet girl is one a four who came to TGPR when their rescue needed help finding them adopters. Because they are great pyrenees mixes, Betsy and her siblings have the qualities of the breed, calm, intelligent, loyal, curious, friendly. Betsy has lived most of her life outside and yet would be a wonderful domestic dog. She just needs more time to learn to walk on a leash and the ins and outs of living in a house. We are so happy you're considering her and would love for you to meet her!

Boone was taken in by animal control during a cruelty case, but we don't know anything about the circumstances. He clearly had somebody love him, and was probably a farm dog before learning the life of the couch and the treats. He is an absolute stud. Gorgeous, double dews, super floof, and as sweet as he can be. He is in great shape, though a little skinny (already being remedied, lol) and is learning the leash. He walked right into his foster's home and straight into the crate, so that's sorted. He is a little shy, but loves to be loved and will probably end up being someone's heart dog- he is awesome.

Elton! He is the sweetest, most social boy! Elton was abandoned by his owner and rescued by the neighbors who all already loved him for his daily friendly greetings and sweet personality. He is slightly smaller than a big Pyr, he is great on a leash, fantastic out in public, and great in the house. Friendly with other dogs, even with cats. He is also a total goofball who loves to play with his people and anybody else who'll play with him.

Evee came to us after being picked up by Animal Control when she was discovered dumped inside of a laundromat. Because of her age, and the large tumors on her body, she found herself quickly added to the Euthanasia list. Thankfully, a guardian angel was watching and we were able to tag her and save her an hour before that happened. This girl is just a sweet, big furball. She enjoys getting pet and hugs and will come and put her head in your lap when she wants snuggles. Though she is a Pyr, her barking is minimal and selective. She will protect her backyard by occasionally alerting to a strange situation or sound and you can tell she’s quite proud of herself! Evee loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and seems so happy when she plays. She’s like a young pup again herself! She is also very good with cats! Evee is so patient when she gets a bath or brushed, is housetrained, and walks well on leash. Though she is considered a senior dog, she has so much love left to give and deserves the best home.
