Story
Hi, my name is Jake! I am 4.5 months old and weigh about 32 pounds The people at HT think I am a Great Pyrenees or Anatolian Shepherd, maybe mixed with Lab or some type of Hound. Breed mix is just a guess though! I am a super cute and very playful! I love to run around my foster's large yard here on the ranch, bouncing through water ponds, wrestling, and exploring. I also love spending time with my foster mom and dad. I especially ove it when they hold me in their laps, scratch my chest, and give me hugs and kisses. Sometimes I enjoy just lounging around and keeping an eye on everyone and taking everything in. There are lots of things to see here at my foster's place, like horses, cows, turkeys, geese, and chickens. I like to watch them, but I don't bother them, and they don't bother me. I even get along with the barn cats, now that we understand each other better. I love treats to chew on and toys to play with. I would probably be ok as an only pup but would love to have another dog in my new home to learn from and play with. We haven't tried walking on a leash much yet, but I am very smart and a fast learner. I haven't been around kids, but I think I will be fine with kids over the age of 10, and that's only because I am probably going to be a very big boy. The first step to meeting me is to submit your application and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Meet Mitts, a 5-year-old neutered male Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever mix who is the epitome of a love bug! With his calm demeanor and gentle nature, Mitts loves to give and receive hugs, making him a perfect cuddle companion. He's great on a leash and thoroughly enjoys his walks, making him an excellent partner for outdoor adventures. Mitts is dog-friendly and would make a wonderful addition to any family, whether you live in an apartment or a house. He knows basic commands, including giving paw, and is always eager to please, especially when treats are involved. One of Mitts' unique traits is that he actually enjoys being brushed, which is a good thing because he sheds quite a bit and needs regular grooming. If you have another dog at home, a meet and greet is required to ensure compatibility. If you're looking for a loving, calm, and well-mannered family dog who enjoys both affection and outdoor fun, Mitts might be the perfect match for you. Come meet Mitts and see if he's the right fit for your home!

Please help us welcome Romy & Michele to Rescue Row! A kind person witnessed someone dumping 5 puppies on the side of the road in a damaged crate. They scooped them up and got to work trying to find homes for the pups. They successfully placed 3 in homes, and one of our board members was able to find a foster for the last 2! Romy and Michele were covered in fleas, and they were so infested that they had to be bathed multiple times to completely clear them up. We are guessing the puppies are 6-8 week old Great Pyrenees mixes.  If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex.
