With a heavy heart, I am needing to rehome my beloved Giles. I used to think of him as a gentle giant, who no matter how old, was always a puppy at heart - even a big lazy oaf at times. I am needing to rehome him for the simple fact that he is showing signs of aggression towards my 2 year old. He has never bit a single person, never been in a dog fight, never hurt a stray animal - but does shoot towards cats and doesn't know to back off before he gets scratched. Giles ABSOLUTELY LOVES to play tug of war with his toys. He loves to run around the backyard and is happy to sit in the cold until you have to eventually drag him inside. He is a slobbery, tongue lolling, sit on your feet and throw his head back at you goofball. Giles deserves a good home that can take care of him and give him the kind of attention he needs and wants. He does have Pancreatitis that requires a low fat food and cannot eat table scraps. Note: Giles really hates baths. He is not coaxed by treats.

Buddy is 2 1/2 years old (born 4/8/2022), 82 pounds. short white hair, friendly, quite smart and SO FULL of energy! He lives outdoors except nights below freezing. I got him as a puppy from a friend. Other than his being untrained and hard to manage because he is so big, he is a wonderful dog. Buddy comes with a metal framed canvas dog house, leash, feeding bowls, and any other pet supplies I have. I would love to keep him but will be unable to care for him due to my health. I hope for him to find a new family with lots of love.
