Looking for an adopter hero to spoil Ella and monitor her health issues! Despite having been through two surgeries for aggressive skin cancer, Ella is as active, playful, and happy as ever! You can even see her smiling big in photos. Ella would prefer to be your one and only dog so she can have all the love to herself! Ella was born on 06/26/2016 and weighs 50 pounds. About Ella: Ella is ready to light up your world with her gorgeous smile! She is a special girl with a special, spunky personality. She will keep you guessing and keep you laughing. Ella is like a little ping-pong ball....one moment, she can be very playful, but the next, she wants her alone time. She's part Heeler, part Pyrenees, part Diva! Ella is a very good girl who is leash-, crate-, and potty-trained! She loves people, chicken nuggets, comfy beds, going on walks, and looking out the window watching the world go by! Ella's an adult dog who has endearing puppy-like qualities (like adorably tripping over her own feet). Her personality is hard to describe in words...all the more reason you should meet her in person! Fill out an application to meet this sweet lady! Story
Winter is a stunning boy with a heart full of love! Despite a horrific past, he remains incredibly sweet and affectionate. This poor pup was forced to spend 12 to 16 hours a day in a hard kennel and was rarely let out. When he was, he endured the sweltering heat outside. Thankfully, authorities intervened, and his owner surrendered him.   When Winter arrived, he was covered in filth and appeared to have never been groomed. Now, he is clean, happy, and eagerly waiting for his forever family.   Winter adores children and people of all ages. He gets along with other dogs, as long as they’re not dominant or aggressive. This 105-pound gentle giant has so much love to give and is truly a fantastic dog.   Winter is currently in boarding and needs a loving home to thrive in. Could you be his forever family?   Age: 4 years, 4 months  Gender: Male  Size: Large (105 lbs)  Shots up to date: Yes  Spayed/Neutered: Yes   Applications to adopt Winter are available at codysfriendsrescue.org. ##1494633##

APPLICATION REQUIRED from www.dashdog.org Adoption Fee $350 ***We don't know how to make this more clear: OUR APPLICATION IS NOT THE PETFINDER APP; OUR APPLICATION IS ON www.dashdog.org. PLEASE complete OUR application if you are interested in meeting our dogs or puppies! Without OUR application being completed, you WILL NOT be considered or receive any communication from us. Thank You! ***AND our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND TAKE HIM OR HER HOME!   Terrific TOBY has grown up surrounded by his brother from another mother, Cooper, and other dog “siblings.” His owner wants to share his story and their heartbreak at rehoming their dogs. “ we are so sad to have to rehome our beautiful canine family members, but we’ve had to move from a home with lots of land where the dogs could run and roam and explore to a much smaller house and Yard, which unfortunately had the fence destroyed in recent storms. We reached out to DASH because we realized our dogs, regardless of being alleged herding breeds, are not meant to work with livestock since they are fleeing our fenceless yard and bothering our neighbors large animals. We’ve had Toby since he was a baby puppy. He’s always been a big loving goofball. He loves to run and roam outdoors. But also loves to come inside and won’t turn away an indoor living situation as long as there’s also a yard and humans who want to play with him. Toby is a big goober. He’s the perfect mix of a Pyrenees and a golden retriever. He has the loyalty and love of the retriever and he’s not stubborn like most Pyrenees. He’s very smart loves to play, but also likes to hunker down with the family and chill out. Tobi is a small or rather medium perfect size for being a Pyrenees mix. He’s never met a stranger and loves to be given affection and attention. He may not be as quick to train as his Aussie brother, but he’s still very smart and will want to please you. We never imagined that we would have to rehome our dogs, but we want what’s best for them and we want to keep them safe. They do not naturally try to run away. It’s just that we have no fence and they’re cooped up all day while we’re gone. We hope DASH followers will take a look at Toby and see his outer beauty; as his owner, I can say he has the disposition and personality to match” APPLICATION REQUIRED from www.dashdog.org  Adoption Fee $450 - the fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE and is not specific for any dog or puppy; it goes to the expenses of the organization as a whole* OUR APPLICATION IS ON www.dashdog.org and must be completed in order to set up a meeting. Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME!   General Info - PLEASE READ! *Our $450 adoption fee is based on the cost of rescuing, transporting and vetting each dog; we do not try to compete on prices with municipal shelters whose funds are paid by the city. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.  Please READ ALL of our info below BEFORE SENDING APPLICATION. Our goal is to help our puppies and dogs find FOREVER HOMES AND FAMILIES, NOT TO MAKE IT PROHIBITIVE FOR YOU TO ADOPT. However, once we review the application and contact you, we MEET TO ADOPT, so please let us know if you are ONLY APPLYING TO STAY ON FILE or THAT YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT, for the consideration of our puppies and dogs and families who know the time is right! Story
Sammy was found as a stray - skin and bones, not an ounce of fat on him, nails overgrown but in spite of his abandonment and neglect, he is a gentle, loving soul. The transporter and him became immediate friends as he found his way from the back of the car to the console, where he laid his head against her arm and stayed there for the entire trip. He was scheduled for euthansia because he was fearful. He is a 2-3 year old male Great Pyrenees. Not sure what his healthy weight will be but he weighs 80 pounds now. He is extremely emaciated but he is eating well and will get back to a healthy weight soon! He absolutely LOVES children. He loves to play tug of war. He is a big, fluffy Teddy Bear. He loves to cuddle. He walks well on a leash. He is an absolutely amazing dog and stunning to look at. and he is no longer fearful.   ##2153252##
