Story
Meet Cherry! She is an almost 2 year old 70-pound Great Pyrenees mix (75% Pyr, 15% German shepherd) who is fully house trained, leash trained, spayed, vaccinated and has no medical issues. She is an extremely sweet and goofy girl who is a perfect combination of being active (loves chasing squirrels, playing fetch with herself with squeaky toys and jumping in and out of pools), but she also absolutely loves to cuddle on the couch for hours, as long as you give her occasional tummy rubs. She is a wonderful dog but can be resource guarding with smaller dogs and probably needs more decompression time from her previous shelter life. She will be best served in a home without little dogs or young children. She loves playing with dogs outside. She has never shown any signs of resource guarding with humans.She would also be best served by someone who has more time to help her deal with her severe separation anxiety. She is currently making great strides on medications.

Hi ! Lily is an amazing dog but unfortunately I can no longer take care of her. Ever since we found out my son has autism we’re at therapies basically all day so I don’t have enough time to spend with her. I cannot take her to the pound because they told me they will probably put her down since big dogs don’t get adopted fast. I don’t want her to die, I just want to rehome her with a family that can give her more time and walk her and take her out. Someone please adopt her. She is big but very humble, chill dog. I love her but I know she will be better off with another family that can give her more time.

Travis is a sweet pup in search of a foster home to rest and recover in until he is ready for adoption. Foster Reason: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) & Skin Concerns Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Travis is being treated for a URI, which is similar to a common cold. Since he may be contagious we recommend that he is kept separate from other dogs until he has fully recovered. He is also being treated for skin irritation and hair loss. Travis will need to be fed 3 times a day and will need weekly baths. A medical consultation will be provided at your pickup appointment so you are ready to confidently care for this sweet pup! Foster to Adopt Program: Travis is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
