We've loved Hank deeply for the past 6 years. He brought us together during Covid & witnessed us get married in the redwoods. He’s been our adventure buddy on hundreds of hikes & has taught us to be more patient and understanding. Our baby is now mobile & we’ve been working our hardest with Hank to help him accept his younger brother. It's heartbreaking for us to admit, but Hank is very stressed by having a little unpredictable creature around the house & needs a family without young kids. Personality: Hank is easygoing, sweet, & friendly. He loves to sleep in, go for a nice hike, & then sunbathe until the sun sets. Hank spends hours on our fenced front porch calmly watching people, dogs, and kids go by. He only ever barks when delivery folks come up the steps. He loves to be around people and is in great health. Needs: In the past Hank has had isolation anxiety. We’ve worked with a trainer on this and he’s improved *immensely* but needs someone willing to continue this training.

We are heartbroken to be rehoming our 22-month-old female Siberian Husky, but we believe it's the right thing for her. As a young Husky, she has tremendous energy and needs long daily walks, running, and active play to be truly happy and healthy. Over the past several months, our family's schedule has grown increasingly demanding. We want to find her a home that matches her energy She has so much love and enthusiasm to give, and we want to see her flourish with someone who can keep up with her wonderful spirit.

Hades is a chill, smart and loving dog. Highly trainable, and polite on a leash, he catches on quite quickly to instructions and loves his structure. He enjoys a typical day playing and socializing, having a blast on his multiple daily walks, and cuddling up at night on the couch. He is a homebody at night, and doesn't bark much. His foster sibling can attest to the fact that he is comfortable with other dogs and would make a fantastic doggy sibling. He has also done well with his feline foster sibling! Hades is not particularly fond of toys or bones, but he sure loves his food! He must have some awesome doggy dreams because he sleeps like an angel. He thrives with patient, caring people who are comfortable going slow with his physical space. Hades will be the happiest dog in a home that can provide patience, continued socialization and training, and lots of exercise with plenty of love thrown in. Could you be that family? Easygoing explorer: Palomino walks with only mild leash pulling and is content entertaining himself while exploring his surroundings, enjoying all the interesting sights and smells. Born to run: Palomino absolutely loves running and enjoys sprinting back and forth around the yard, showing off his energetic and playful side. Smart and treat motivated: While somewhat picky about treats, Palomino has a clear favorite—cheese! He takes treats politely, responds to “sit” and “touch,” and enjoys interactive games of chase with his people. Affiliative and uncomplicated: Palomino accepts pets and gentle strokes but doesn’t actively seek attention, preferring a balance of companionship and independence. He may occasionally chase a ball for fun, though he’s not too concerned about bringing it back.
