Story
We've loved Hank deeply for the past 6 years. He brought us together during Covid & witnessed us get married in the redwoods. He’s been our adventure buddy on hundreds of hikes & has taught us to be more patient and understanding. Our baby is now mobile & we’ve been working our hardest with Hank to help him accept his younger brother. It's heartbreaking for us to admit, but Hank is very stressed by having a little unpredictable creature around the house & needs a family without young kids. Personality: Hank is easygoing, sweet, & friendly. He loves to sleep in, go for a nice hike, & then sunbathe until the sun sets. Hank spends hours on our fenced front porch calmly watching people, dogs, and kids go by. He only ever barks when delivery folks come up the steps. He loves to be around people and is in great health. Needs: In the past Hank has had isolation anxiety. We’ve worked with a trainer on this and he’s improved *immensely* but needs someone willing to continue this training.

Story
Hades is a chill, smart and loving dog that settled in quickly and smoothly into his foster home. Highly trainable, and polite on a leash, he catches on quite quickly to instructions and loves his structure. He enjoys a typical day playing and socializing, having a blast on his multiple daily walks, and cuddling up at night on the couch. He is a homebody at night, and oh boy he loves his outings during the day. Hades loves to run! His foster sibling can attest to the fact that he is comfortable with other dogs and would make a fantastic doggy sibling. He has also done well with his feline foster sibling! Hades is not particularly fond of toys or bones, but he sure loves his food! He must have some awesome doggy dreams because he sleeps like an angel. He thrives with patient, caring people who are comfortable going slow with his physical space. Hades will be the happiest dog in a home that can provide patience, continued socialization and training, and lots of exercise with plenty of love thrown in. Could you be that family? Apply to adopt Hades today! (SG)

Story
Loki is a 4 year old husky mix who came to Rocket Dog after his owner passed away. Loki has been living with his friend Quinn. They rely on each other for comfort and companionship, and must be adopted together. These dogs are typical huskies - active, energetic, vocal, and playful - but they have great training and would adapt well to a home environment. They would do best in a home who has experience with huskies or has done the necessary research and prepared themselves for caring for these special dogs. Loki is an extra-large guy and does need to lose some weight. He currently weighs in at around 110 pounds.

While she can be a little cautious when meeting new people, those who take the time to earn her trust are rewarded with an incredibly sweet companion. A loyal friend: Tindra appreciates a slow, gentle introduction and likes to get comfortable at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her foster describes her as incredibly affectionate and loving. Smart and active: Like many Huskies, Tindra enjoys staying busy and would thrive with regular exercise, enrichment activities, and opportunities to explore the world alongside her family. Thoughtful around other dogs: During her dog evaluation, Tindra remained calm and non-reactive. She preferred her personal space and showed a gentle, conflict-avoiding style around other dogs. Could do well in a home with appropriately matched dogs, or placed as a solo dog with appropriate dog friends. Ready for adventure: Tindra is looking for adopters who understand the needs of active dogs and can provide the physical and mental stimulation that helps her shine. Tindra also has an old healed leg injury that doesn't slow her down or appear to cause her discomfort. She remains mobile, active, and ready to enjoy life with her new family. With patience, understanding, and plenty of love, Tindra has all the makings of a wonderful companion. Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.July 7, 2026, 2:19 pm

Shiloh is a young husky mix who weighs around 70 pounds and has a sweet, sensitive soul. Shiloh shines when he’s with his people; whether that’s exploring the outdoors, going for a car ride, or enjoying playdates with his dog friends. Shiloh is hoping to find a loving, patient home willing to give him the time and space he needs to decompress, build trust, and discover just how wonderful the world can be. Shiloh would do well with appropriately matched dog companions or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
