Story
Sweet Brulee is a beautiful girl with the most amazing coloring. She has a strong personality, very human centric and bonds very quickly with her humans. She walks decent on leash once some of the typical husky energy has been burnt off but could use more leash training and would do best with a very active family. She has a strong prey drive so care should be taken around small animals.  Brulee is treat motived, takes treats very nicely, knows 'sit', ‘shake’, 'down', 'stay' and crate trained. She loves playing with toys and people, but not very interested in other dogs. Brulee would most likely do best as an only dog as she loves all the attention. Anyone looking for a very active but extremely sweet girl as a companion dog, Brulee is your girl!Click here to watch a video of Brulee.      July 26, 2024, 4:26 pm

Story
Bill is a strikingly handsome gentleman that  is ready for a foster or forever home.  He weighs in at 80 lbs. He has high energy but can also be calm. He's a Shepsky that has the best of both breeds! The shepherd in him is guarding and alert, but the husky in him greets people easily. He is crate trained and potty trained. Bill loves to be outdoors and likes other dogs. He would do best in a home with a constant human or canine companion, or both!       July 26, 2024, 4:26 pm

Story
Jubilee has been living in a foster home and she's really living up to her name!  She is about 12 months old and full of FUN!  This sweetheart of a puppy only weighs 40 lbs. and we don't think she'll get much bigger.   She loves all the dogs and people she meets - and they love her back! She especially loves, loves to play with her 8 month old and 2 yr old foster sisters, for hours! She is also respectful to older dogs.  She's a smart girl that knows basic commands, is potty trained, plus she’s eager to please.  She loves to cuddle when she's sleeping or relaxing, either with humans or other dogs. She's well behaved in public and in restaurants - but is very interested in meeting other dogs too.  She needs some leash training and we're working on that. She's still very full of young puppy energy! Jubilee is 57% Siberian Husky, 23% Australian cattle dog, 9% Alaskan malamute, 3% Samoyed and 3% Chow Chow! All this in a petite and fun sized little girl t hat wants to be your BFF! Click here to watch a video of Jubilee.      July 26, 2024, 4:26 pm

Story
Prancer is an easy girl: - Potty trained - Crate trained - Easy to walk and not a puller (loose leash!) - Not an escape artist or digger - Can be trusted alone in a home without touching a thing! Seriously. Great on solo walks. Would be great in a calm environment. Loves treats and very affectionate. Great with other people; needs attention around other dogs. She’s loving, lovely and easy! She loves her walks, rides and adventures, but, despite little bursts of energy, she’s not super high energy so a nice walk and/or play time in the yard and she’s good to go. This really is an easy dog!      Click here to watch a video of Prancer the Dancer.      July 26, 2024, 4:26 pm

Story
Meet HIROMI HIROMI was turned into the shelter as a found dog. No one ever came for her. Despite being failed by her former person, this sweetheart remains devoted and loving. After Hiromi’s arrival she was initially timid and lacked confidence. She can still be somewhat apprehensive but she has opened up and trusted us enough to let her true colors shine! She is silly, sensitive, refreshingly affectionate, playful and a free spirit. Her absolute favorite past time is to be showered with love and give it in return. Her gentle, resilient nature is inspiring but not surprising. Hiromi is very communicative by expressing a multitude of emotions with her eyes. Her body language is inviting and she understands how to use it to subtly let you know what’s on her mind. She is also an Akita so stubbornness is part of her DNA! Her ideal adopter should have a calm home environment and be able to provide consistency and a daily routine, where she can continue to expand her horizons. Hiromi gets excited for her daily walks and is a great traveler! She seems non-reactive to other dogs and might do well with a mellow male dog. She is approx 4 yrs old and weighs 57 lbs. She is also crate and house trained. She is ready to pledge her love and devotion! Are you?! Story
Meet TOBI We don't know much about Tobi's past, but his future is very bright. He is a big boy with a heart the size to match. He is a gentle giant with a gregarious, carefree attitude and is eager to learn and experience the world. He is game for adventure and deserves to have that special someone to accompany him in life. Tobi is playful and has a welcoming aura about him. He also has an unabashed, confident side to him. He's just not sure how he ended up here, and we're making sure he never has to wonder that ever again. He is best as an only dog and someone with previous Akita experience is best. Tobi is approximately 5 yrs old, and due to his size should be on a good quality joint supplement. He's only been with us a short time, so will need to gain a few pounds to look his best, but he's already on his way to showing us his beautiful soul. Story
Meet Emi Emi’s sleek, brindle coat is a thing of beauty and so magnificent to behold. Engaging, charismatic, gregarious, and spirited are the first things you sense about her from the moment she enters a room. Emi exudes a brand of joy that makes her impossible to resist! Not until you witness her graceful elegance and see a bit of frost around her muzzle, do you realize she is a senior beauty with an abundance of life experiences to share. She’s 8 yrs old and has found herself homeless, but she’s seen enough in life to know there’s still a wonderous journey ahead. She is a lover of people and she’d much rather be enjoying a fun adventure with you by her side on interesting walks or trips to the beach, than be left at home alone. She needs to be an only dog and is not suitable with cats. She is approximately 60 lbs. and seems unaware she has some arthritis and hip dysplasia. But as you can see, she enjoys playing with her toys and doing tricks for treats. Her healthy curiosity keeps her engaged in life’s adventures, though she also loves her beauty naps. Please don’t let her age deter you from considering giving her a home. Her heart is overflowing with love. If you are interested in Emi, please complete our adoption application in the link below.
