Sequoia is super sweet, energetic, and quite unique, maybe even a little quirky. She’s very friendly and affectionate with people, and not reactive to dogs on walks. She loves belly rubs. Sequoia doesn’t seem to have a lot of leash-walking experience, and likes to keep tabs on her human by circling around you and nudging you along, which could be part of her herding dog instincts. She can be a little anxious and is not particularly interested in toys, preferring to be out and about and observing everything going on. She would likely do best in an active household where she can be engaged. She is housetrained. Sequoia is currently in a foster home. We found Lil Bit wandering the streets in Berkeley. He is a 6-month-old pitsky (?) puppy who is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped on 6/18 (your adoption fee goes towards this). He has strikingly beautiful eyes! He currently lives peacefully with a large dog, two cats, and two young kids. He became besties with my dog very quickly! Once you earn his trust, he is very loyal, affectionate, and playful. He is very mellow and has a relaxed energy. He is good at respecting boundaries, making him a great companion for your dog(s). Easygoing and friendly, Lil Bit has pretty much won the hearts of everyone he has met. He is housetrained (learned to ring a bell to go outside), great in the car, has excellent recall, very food motivated, a fast learner, and is learning tricks like sit, down, wait, and touch. We are working on his separation anxiety and crate training. Lil Bit is a gem of a dog who will make a family very happy!

Our fosters say it best and here's what Tobias' said: Tobias is a gentleman who loves to sit with his paws crossed. When at home, he will calmly keep you company by laying near where ever you are. He is completely potty-trained and sleeps well at night. And while he is the calmest dog at the house, he loves to take long walks. He is GREAT on car rides. He hops right in and loves to stick his head out of the window. He no longer pulls on the leash (unless he sees a squirrel - they are his kryptonite). He is great in public spaces. Tobias has kept me company at many dog-friendly breweries and coffee shops. He can be a bit anxious around sudden movements so it's best to keep a watchful eye when introducing him to kids or other dogs. But if you're looking for someone to add to your pack and keep you company around the house, Tobias is your guy.
