Story
This big, lovable guy may not be slicing through the wind like his namesake, but Samurai has mastered the ancient art of relaxation. Yes, he’s carrying a few extra pounds—okay, maybe more than a few—but Samurai takes it all in stride. He’s working on slimming down at his own pace (preferably one slow walk at a time), and would love a forever home that can help him stay on track with his health goals as he reaches his golden years! Despite his laid-back lifestyle, he’ll happily trot over for head scratches, belly rubs, or just a good chat. That adorable face, complete with his wonderfully goofy eyebrows, never fails to bring a smile to everyone he meets. Samurai is the total package: charming, cuddly, and full of quiet charisma. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance buddy with maximum snuggle potential, Samurai is ready to settle into your heart—and maybe your couch—today!

Story
Coyote is an apt moniker for this young lad: a little bit playful, a little bit shy, a little bit wild. Coyote is a great pup who is just growing up. He starts out a little unsure around humans, but once he figures out you’re there to take him out, he warms up pretty quickly. In the playroom, he will give you play bows and let you rub his soft belly. Coyote is also a good walker on leash and does not react to other dogs. He seems comfortable around them. He has bouts of playfulness and bursts of energy on walks, like any young dog should. He would make an excellent exercise buddy. He may have been running stray for a while, because Coyote arrived pretty skinny and exhibits some food possessiveness, so shelter staff are working on making him feel more secure with regular meals. This guy is ready to be your constant companion – come meet him soon.

Story
I found this beautiful Husky roaming around the streets of my town in the SF Bay Area. I kept him in my backyard a few days until his owner could be found. No one came forth and so he went to the county animal shelter where he stayed for a week and then was scheduled to be euthanized. I could not let that happen to this friendly, and Innocent dog so I took him home as a foster. He has been with me for 2 months and is a very social and friendly dog. He is about 2 years old. Since I already have 2 large dogs, I do not have room for a third, so that is why I would like to find a permanent home for this amazing animal. He is full of LOVE and is very PLAYFUL! He gets along with kids and cats! He is trained and knows to sit and stay. He is friendly and comfortable with new people- men and women alike. He would be great as an only dog in a family that has older kids (10+ years old) who would love to play with him and walk him daily.

Lulu is a very smart girl with a lot of professional training. Lulu loves to hike/walk and swim. She gets along with dogs male or female - would be a great family dog. Lulu came to the Milo Foundation Sanctuary only because her family had received bad new with some medical issues and could no longer care for her. Lulu was very well cared for and loved by her previous family. We are looking for a family to adopt or foster Lulu. .. it's impressive the training Lulu has had with Skully Dogs Training. Lulu has two certificates of achievement for core commands. If you would like more information on Lulu please call 707-459-4900. Lulu is such a sweet girl and she listens very well- this girl deserves a happy healthy home again and we plan to help her find it!
