Story
I’m looking for a loving, responsible new home for my 6-year-old Siberian Husky. He is 100% good with kids and has a calm, independent personality. He doesn’t need constant attention and is happy to relax on his own during the day, making him an easy companion for a balanced lifestyle. He has basic obedience training, is fully house-broken, and crate trained. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys being outdoors, and stays calm without being overly curious or pulling. With other dogs, introductions should be supervised at first, but once comfortable he does great. I’m searching for a stable, caring home that understands the responsibility of owning a Husky. If you’re interested, please reach out and share a little about yourself and your home so we can make sure it’s the right match for him.

Story
Hi my name is Mr. Pibb! I am a shy dog by nature, so meeting new people can put me in a bit of a ruff spot. But I recently was lucky enough to go to a foster home, and my new foster parent says I have been adjusting well and that I am gentle, well-mannered in the home, and so sweet! I even seem to know some commands! I am working on getting more confident and comfortable. Can you be my safe person? Reach out to the adoptions team to arrange a meeting with me!Mr. Pibb is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call (734)662-5585 to arrange a meeting today!

Story
Hi my name is Vanilla Bean! I am a shy kind of dog who is looking for a patient owner who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. I can be rather shy so I would prefer a quieter home without younger children. I have a high prey drive and lots of high energy, so I need a home without cats to be my best self. Once I get more comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption survey online or in the shelter.

Story
Hey my name is Chloe! I am a friendly dog looking for someone to help me build my confidence a bit, but once I am comfortable, I am an affectionate girl! Training, routines, and a calm introductions to new people would help me blossom into the best dog I can be. I have a prey drive and have not been social with cats before, so no feline friends for me please! I can be rather shy so I would prefer a quieter home without younger children. I can be selective when it comes to new friends, so I’d like to meet any potential dog siblings before I go home. Could I be the one for you? Please come in to meet me soon!
