Story
Freya was found as a stray without id in the neighborhood of one of our volunteers. This active Husky needs an experienced person , ideally familiar with the breed. She is a very sweet dog with a friendly disposition. Freya is a bit shy at first, but quickly warms up to calm and gentle responses. As with all Huskies, she has lots of energy and would love frequent exercise, including long walks and jogs and interactive play, and she walks like a champ on a leash. Freya loves to play with other dogs similar in size. Cats and other small animals might be considered prey so probably are not the best companions nor are young children. This sweet girl is quick to snuggle up and might even need lots of contact and affection. We think she would thrive with an experienced pack leader(s) in a calmer household. We quickly fell in love with this regal beauty and are certain you will too! A high fenced yard is needed or she will need to be on a tie out as she is able to jump a 4 foot chain link fence. Freya is very loving and loves her belly rubbed once she gets to know you. Her beautiful blue eyes will melt your heart! We think she is young about 1 1/2 years old and she weighs 49 pounds.

Story
Trinity is a very pretty Husky mix with blue eyes. She is currently fostered with other dogs in an adult home. We don't know how she is around young children but older kids should be fine. She is smart, energetic and playful and might be a good companion for another dog or is fine as an only dog. Trinity loves human attention and interaction. Those interested should be familiar with the breed. She would enjoy going on walks with someone willing to give her lots of love and attention. Trinity is microchipped. We think she is about 2 years old.

Story
Meet Boo! Don’t worry — these little Monsters are more about cuddles than scares! Meet the Monsters, Inc. litter, a group of playful, lovable, and totally adorable husky mix puppies named after your favorite characters from the beloved movie. These little loveable “scare” experts are ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of puppy kisses into your life. But be warned—once you meet them, your heart will be monstrously full! Just like her Monsters, Inc. namesake, Boo is a curious, loving, and playful little pup who will steal your heart in an instant! Boo's past is a bit of a mystery but we believe she experienced unkind interactions with humans, so she is bit timid at first. She needs someone who is willing to meet her where she is, understands that she needs time and patience, and is invested in continuing to support confidence building and positive associations with humans. She may start off a bit shy, but once she warms up, she’s an affectionate, snuggly lovebug who adores pets, cuddles, and gentle playtime. Boo enjoys a balanced mix of play and rest, spending her days exploring her environment, climbing on things, and soaking up all the love from her humans. Boo enjoys playtime, snuggles, and naps in equal measure. Boo a smart girl who already knows many basic commands like "sit", "down", "stay", and "come." She is working on potty training, wearing a collar, leash training, and crate training. She’s friendly with people and other animals but appreciates a little patience when meeting new friends. With a calm and consistent routine, she’ll thrive in just about any home environment — whether it’s with a quiet, laid-back family or a more active household. This girl has made so much progress already and is ready to take on the world with someone who is dedicated to her training and socialization. Adoption is $325, which includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Story
Meet Sulley! Introducing the Monsters, Inc. litter, a group of playful, lovable, and totally adorable husky mix puppies named after your favorite characters from the beloved movie. These little loveable “scare” experts are ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of puppy kisses into your life. But be warned—once you meet them, your heart will be monstrously full! Sulley has an unknown but traumatic past. He absolutely loves other dogs, but is nervous and timid around new people. Sadly, we believe that Sulley experienced some human inflicted abuse as a young puppy. He has grown and made so much progress thanks to his dedicated, patient foster. Sulley is still working through his fears, building confidence, learning how to be a dog in a loving home, and socializing with humans. Once he warms up, Sulley will be your shadow and best friend. He absolutely loves other dogs and takes cues from those around him. He loves to explore his surroundings, run and play, and play keep away with toys. Sulley is also an elite sleeper, enjoying naps throughout the day and resting peacefully by himself. He is very observant and can often be found watching his fosters do everyday tasks, taking it all in. Sulley a smart guy who already knows many basic commands like "sit", "come", "no", and "Sulley." He is working on potty training, wearing a collar, leash training, and crate training. He is also working on trusting humans and being confident in himself. Sulley's ideal home is one that is safe, consistent, calm, and without children. He is still learning and thus needs a home with another dog who is confident, playful, and well-mannered. Ideally, Sulley will live in a home where someone works from home or spends a more time at home than away from home. He does do well independently for several hours. Adoption is $325, which includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health.
