Background: Star was given to me when I was 14 by my neighbor. The neighbor was not able to provide much for her and left her with me, with two existing conditions I wasn't aware of. She has bad teeth and her arm sometimes limps. Vets assume she is around 10-14 years right now. What we wish for Star is a quiet suburban area. A family with kids could be great but she needs a lot of attention and love. She is a homebody but does love sunny warm days. She may be an old dog with a chronic arm issue but that does not stop her from enjoying herself. She is loyal and gentle, and protective. She does not enjoy large dogs or crowded dog parks. We definitely believe that an older couple with a grassy backyard would enjoy her company. She loves kids as well.

Toby  is up to date on core vaccines (age-appropriate) and is microchipped. He will be neutered prior to joining his forever home unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Toby is good with people of all ages and other dogs. Toby was seized from a hoarding situation. He is an amazingly cute little guy, and he's a bundle of energy and love. He will zoom around and then plop down on your lap for a nap! Lucky’s is a sweet, beautiful little dog. He wears a belly wrap as he came "housebroken", but is not, but we feel he can be trained. His foster has a fenced in yard and he loves it, we don’t put the belly wrap on him during the day while he’s able to go outside in the backyard and he’s doing wonderful with potty training. His foster mama absolutely loves him. He would be perfect in a retired couple's or woman's home. He would do fine with female dogs. He is smart and listens to commands. He is a little tad bit spoiled. He would be fine with older children but not toddlers. He loves his human and sleeps great in the bed.
