Story
Meet Henry! This handsome little puggle is about 2 years old and weighs 22 pounds. He’s energetic, playful, and always ready for fun! Henry LOVES people and is so enthusiastic about greeting everyone he meets. He’s a happy guy with a big heart and a joyful spirit. Henry came to us after fathering his last litter (don’t worry—mama and babies are safe with us and doing great, and Henry is now scheduled to be neutered so his puppy-making days are officially behind him!). Now it’s his turn to be the one cared for, loved, and cherished. Henry would do great with a family who can match his playful energy, give him attention, and include him in their daily lives. He’s ready to start his new chapter and can’t wait to find his forever people!

Meet Winger! 🐾💙 Winger is a 3-year-old, 13-pound Pug/Dachshund mix with a BIG personality packed into a little body! This super friendly, outgoing guy came to us alongside his baby mama and her young litter — but now he’s ready to retire from dad life and step into his favorite role yet: your full-time lovebug. Winger is affectionate, playful, and loves being around people. He’s the kind of pup who will happily soak up attention, follow you around, and make every day brighter with his silly charm. Plus, he gets along great with other dogs, making him an easy addition to a multi-pup home. If you’re looking for a sweet, social little companion who’s ready to be your shadow and best friend, Winger is your guy!

Story
Meet Diesel! If you’re looking for a pint-sized powerhouse with a big personality and even bigger heart, Diesel is ready to rev his engine straight into your life. This goofy, high-energy Pug arrived at Emerald City Pet Rescue in January 2025 from California, and he’s been charming everyone he meets ever since. Diesel is a happy, silly, go-with-the-flow kind of guy who loves all people and genuinely enjoys meeting new friends, strangers, visitors, and even the vet included! He shows affection by jumping up, barking excitedly, and generally making sure you know he’s thrilled you exist. When the zoomies hit, he spins in circles like a little tornado, earning him the nickname “Diesel Engine.” He feels safest when surrounded by people, cozy blankets, and a bit of chaos, his ideal humans are just as hyper, fun, and engaged as he is. Diesel thrives on attention and enrichment and will happily keep you laughing all day long. He may do well with the right dog companion and can live with playful cats. This silly little Pug does have long-term medical considerations that will require a dedicated and attentive adopter. Diesel has a jaw condition called cranial mandibular osteodystrophy and limited jaw mobility due to a prior injury. To maintain his quality of life, he needs gentle jaw massages and stretching at least twice daily, along with enrichment like lick mats and slow feeders, which also double as physical therapy. He also has ongoing GI sensitivity that is managed with a prescription wet diet, probiotics, and a carefully structured feeding schedule. Because anesthesia is difficult for him, proactive dental care and daily plaque-reducing supplements are essential. Diesel also needs mindful temperature management, as he doesn’t pant efficiently and can overheat easily. Diesel is looking for an engaged, patient home that’s ready to invest time, structure, and supervision into helping him thrive. In return, he offers endless laughs, boundless affection, and a one-of-a-kind personality that’s impossible not to love.If you’re ready for a joyful challenge and a dog who lives life at full speed, Diesel would love to meet you. Diesel is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

Story
Yes, the rumors are true. I am a wheelie pug and I am wheelie awesome too. I still have some use of my back legs so I dont need my wheelchair when Im on the grass or carpet, but my foster mom has a lot of slippy floors so she puts me in my wheelchair when shes bopping around room to room so I can follow and try to be the Velcro pug I dream of being. I have been going on lots of adventures lately and my foster mom says Im the best copilot! I love a road trip, especially the snacks part. Can I have one of your fries? I am well behaved and dont bark too much. Foster mom took me on a 3 mile hike and I relaxed in the sling the whole time and looked around at the big beautiful world. We had lunch outside the other day and I just chilled out and enjoyed the sun and smells. She let me roll around a bit and I made new friends everywhere I went! Basically Im the best girl. Lets cuddle.
