Story
Yes, the rumors are true. I am a wheelie pug and I am wheelie awesome too. I still have some use of my back legs so I dont need my wheelchair when Im on the grass or carpet, but my foster mom has a lot of slippy floors so she puts me in my wheelchair when shes bopping around room to room so I can follow and try to be the Velcro pug I dream of being. I have been going on lots of adventures lately and my foster mom says Im the best copilot! I love a road trip, especially the snacks part. Can I have one of your fries? I am well behaved and dont bark too much. Foster mom took me on a 3 mile hike and I relaxed in the sling the whole time and looked around at the big beautiful world. We had lunch outside the other day and I just chilled out and enjoyed the sun and smells. She let me roll around a bit and I made new friends everywhere I went! Basically Im the best girl. Lets cuddle.

Story
I am a sweet senior mix with a lot of love left to give. I am looking for an easy-going homebody companion to keep company in my golden years! I am in overall good shape for a 15 year old but I do have a little arthritis and need to get out potty regularly or sometimes I cant hold it fast enough to get out the door if you wait too long. Im used to a doggie door and overall House trained again unless Im left too long, Us old dudes just dont have the bladders that the young dudes have! I love to snuggle and hang out in the garden. I get along well with kids and other dogs. I would make an excellent companion for another senior!

Tater might play it cool at first a little shy, a little unsure but give him a minute (or two) and boom: instant shadow. Hes what we lovingly call a Velcro dog stuck to your side, calm as a cucumber, and loyal to the core. Surrendered by his previous owner, Tater hasnt let it dim his sweet spirit. Hes good with dogs, cool with cats, and totally down for a quiet evening binge-watching whatever you're watching (he wont judge your choices). Basically, hes the kind of dog who gives you that everythings okay now energy just by being in the room.

Story
Meet Boba Fett small in size, big in personality, and only slightly less intimidating than his Star Wars namesake. Boba is a 2-year-old Pug/Boston Terrier mix with a smooshy face, serious zoomie potential, and a heart thats ready to love once he knows hes safe. He gets along with other dogs until toys enter the chat. When theres a squeaky involved, Boba gets a little too intense and forgets his manners. He might do best as your one-and-only pup, or with another chill dog and supervised playdates. Either way, hes a total character who will keep you entertained with his goofy antics and expressive little face. Hes great with kids and enjoys attention, snuggles, and showing off his playful side. Boba can be wary of most men we suspect hes had a rough experience in his past but with patience, consistency, and a gentle approach, he can learn that good guys do exist. This little guy is smart, sweet, and just the right amount of stubborn. Hes looking for a home where he can feel secure, be loved for his quirks, and maybe have an entire toy bin to himself (he has strong opinions about sharing). If youre looking for a loyal sidekick with big feelings and even bigger snuggles, Boba Fett is ready to trade in his bounty hunting days for belly rubs and a forever home.

Story
Hi, I'm Bella. It's been kinda rough, but I still love people. I was forced to have puppies until my puppy stuff all came out ofme. I had only a few hours left before everyone was going to give up on me ... then Church of Pug said yes. They called ita prolapse and was dropped at the shelter, not a vet. They brought me to a wonderful place that got me all fixed up and healthy. Due to years of them not really caring for me, I have some eye issues and will need drops daily . I can not believe how nice Hoomans really are. My foster says I am the most lovable and tiny thing she has ever had, and she has had a lot of fosters. If you want a dog that will be by your side or your back or front, I'm your girl. I love to sit on a pillow under my foster's desk all day long. I'm still healing from my Prolapse surgery, so I can't really play much right now, but I'm more of a Hooman Pup, than a Pup, Pup. But they don't bother me either. I will go to any human, so keep me safe and tagged. If you would take me home I promise to roll over and let you rub my belly all the time. Thanks for caring about me. I really appreciate it and would love to give you loves and kisses to show you.

Story
Hi, I'm Casper, and I am a bundle of joy and the best playmate! I am an Albino Frenchton, (everyone stares and says how beautiful I am. sure how old I am. they think I am about 1-2 years old, weighing about 25 lbs. I have some mild skin allergies, but they are getting so much better with the medication I am taking! I am happiest in a home with older kids, just because I am full of energy and am not always aware to not jump on my favorite humans! When I'm not perfecting my snuggle game, I love following my humans around, making sure they never feel lonely! I enjoy walks, playing fetch in the yard, and lots of belly rubs! I am crate-training and mostly house-trained, but I would do best in my crate if left alone for more than a few hours. My foster mom thinks I am the most handsomest pup that would be a great addition to your family! While I love my Hoomans, I am used to protecting my family from any dangers, like kitties, other dogs, squirrels, chickens or cows.

Story
Welcome Emmy Lou to CCPAL Rescue. Emmy Lou is a 10-week-old Boston Terrier mixed puppy. She weighs about 10 pounds. She has longer legs than a few of the siblings. She should be a small to medium sized dog. We think weight not over 25 pounds. Her mom looks like a pure-bred Boston Terrier but we don’t know what the dad was. Emmy Lou has the colorations of the Boston Terrier Mom. She has smaller feet so we do believe the weight estimate should be accurate. The mom is small. This group of puppies are energetic, outgoing, inquisitive, affectionate and extroverted. They are very good with their siblings and were in a home prior to coming into the rescue. The family had an unspayed Boston Terrier and a male crawled into the yard and got her pregnant. They asked for help and promised to spay the mother dog. We took the entire litter of puppies. They have a shorter coat and right now not too big in shedding. Emmy Lou has folded ears. We don’t think they will go fully upright. They are wonderful pups and will make some lucky family a very nice pet. She is good in a crate and ready for some family to work with her to finish off her puppy training. They will walk on a leash and she will go on a potty pad and if she is outside, will go outside in the grass. She is smart and looks you right in the eye. We don’t see Boston Terriers much in dog rescue. This is a nice find. She is currently getting dewormed and all her puppy vaccines. She will be spayed soon and will be looking for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
