Story
Meet Norman, His Royal Squishiness
Please make way for Norman, a 3-year-old Bulldog with the face of a cartoon character, the snore of an 18-wheeler, and the firm belief that he deserves to be adored. And you know what? He's right.
Norman is a squishy-faced king looking for a family prepared to provide everything a gentleman of his stature requires: a comfy place to nap, plenty of affection, and long, luxurious scratches under his chin. Seriously, get that perfect spot and Norman will tip his head toward the sky so you can keep going. Your arm may get tired. That's a sacrifice he's willing to let you make.
This sweet boy is wonderfully low-key. His favorite activity is curling up beside his person with his little face resting in their lap, preferably followed by a quality nap and some truly spectacular snoring. His foster says he sounds like a semi truck using its compression brakes. Sweet dreams, everyone!
Norman enjoys leisurely neighborhood strolls and is an absolute gentleman on leash, sticking politely by your side. He's not looking to set any distance records. A couple of blocks, a little sniffing, then back to his throne sounds just about perfect.
He's also good with other dogs and remarkably patient with his more energetic foster sibling. Norman is happy to trot around with canine friends, but roughhousing? Please. The king has people for that. He is a generous ruler, kind, and affectionate. But also notable is that his tolerance extends to cats and kids! They are welcome in Norman's kingdom.
Somehow, his quirks keep getting cuter. Norman pauses at the door and looks up at his foster as though he's politely asking permission to proceed. He makes Wookie noises while rolling around on his back. And after doing his business outside, this stout little gentleman has been known to skip away like a schoolgirl.
Norman is estimated to have been born in April 2023 and weighs 60lbs. He is a bull dog who doesn't ask for much. He just wants a cozy home, someone nearby, and the love and adoration to which he is obviously entitled.
Long live the Squishy-Faced King.
Norman’s adoption fee is $450. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.
