Story
Yes, the rumors are true. I am a wheelie pug and I am wheelie awesome too. I still have some use of my back legs so I dont need my wheelchair when Im on the grass or carpet, but my foster mom has a lot of slippy floors so she puts me in my wheelchair when shes bopping around room to room so I can follow and try to be the Velcro pug I dream of being. I have been going on lots of adventures lately and my foster mom says Im the best copilot! I love a road trip, especially the snacks part. Can I have one of your fries? I am well behaved and dont bark too much. Foster mom took me on a 3 mile hike and I relaxed in the sling the whole time and looked around at the big beautiful world. We had lunch outside the other day and I just chilled out and enjoyed the sun and smells. She let me roll around a bit and I made new friends everywhere I went! Basically Im the best girl. Lets cuddle.

Story
Missy is a sweet, petite young pug who still has that soft, puppy-like charm and bright curiosity about the world. She may be small, but her personality is already shining through in the most playful and endearing way. She is affectionate, engaging, and full of youthful energy, always ready to follow her people around, explore new spaces, and soak up attention wherever she can get it. Missy has that perfect mix of silly and sweet she loves connection, enjoys being near her humans, and is quickly learning how wonderful life can be when youre safe and cared for. Still very much in her young-dog stage, Missy is ready to grow into her best life with guidance, love, and consistency. Shes the kind of pup who will bond deeply and bring joy in all the little everyday moments from morning routines to couch cuddles. Missy is looking for a home where she can continue blossoming into the happy, confident little dog shes meant to be.

Story
Louie is a tiny 6-month-old pug mix with a goofy heart, a bright spirit, and a personality that somehow manages to steal attention the moment he shows up. Sweet, playful, and full of charm, Louie has already started proving hes something special even the camera cant resist him. Recently featured on Teefers social media, Louie was seen not as a puppy left behind in a high-risk shelter, but as the little star he was always meant to be. And honestly? Thats exactly who he is. Behind the humor and puppy silliness is a young boy who should never have found himself in that situation to begin with. But instead of letting his past define him, Louie is leaning into his future one filled with safety, love, and people who see just how special he truly is. Now safe with Church of Pug, Louie is ready to trade uncertainty for playtime, cuddles, and a forever family who will celebrate him for the little star he already is. Because some puppies arent just rescued theyre discovered.

Story
Meet Mumu! A lovable, squishy-faced English Bulldog with a big personality, a tender heart, and a whole lot of charm packed into her 3-year-old body. Mumu is looking for a forever home where she can truly be a dog — enjoying companionship, structure, and the comfort of having her people nearby. She thrives when she has company during the day and does best with routine, consistency, and gentle guidance. She’s crate trained and genuinely loves her crate, often choosing it as her favorite place to relax and feel secure. This sweet girl has a playful side and enjoys engaging with her people, though her activity is currently more limited due to healing needs. She’s happiest when she’s included, supervised, and given appropriate outlets to stay mentally enriched without overdoing it physically. Mumu is seeking an experienced adopter, ideally someone familiar with bulldogs or dogs with ongoing medical needs. Her care routine is very manageable for the right person and will feel familiar to those with breed experience. Mumu does have several long-term medical considerations that require commitment and hands-on care. She will need daily and monthly medications, including monthly injections (which she handles like a champ), ongoing management of skin allergies, arthritis pain relief, and careful monitoring to prevent jumping or strain. She also has an upcoming TPLO surgery on her other leg, and we would love for her to recover in a home environment if possible. Down the road, her hips may require surgery as well. Estimated monthly care costs for food and medications are around $275. Her skin care routine includes wiping her feet after outdoor time and keeping her wrinkles clean and dry to prevent dermatitis — small tasks that make a big difference in her comfort and quality of life. Mumu would do best as the only dog in the home and has not been cat tested. A calm, attentive environment with someone who can be present during the day and committed to her physical limitations is essential. Bulldog experience is strongly preferred. Mumu may come with extra responsibility, but she gives back tenfold in affection, loyalty, and that unmistakable bulldog charm. She’s looking for someone who sees beyond her medical needs and is ready to love her fully — wrinkles, routines, and all. Mumu is spayed, crate trained, and available for adoption.

Story
Meet Camo Hi, my name is Camo although maybe I should have been named Yoda. I kind of resemble that guy from Star Wars. I’m a sweet and calm labrador retriever possibly Boston terrier bulldog mix. I am estimated to be two years old who weighs just 37 pounds. If you are looking for a nice medium sized pup I am your guy. I’m a total cuddle bug who also loves to do anything my people are doing. I do great with other dogs and would happily welcome some furry friends in my new home. I came into rescue after being found wandering a rural neighborhood. Kind people looked for my family, but no one came forward—so now I’m ready to find my forever one! I love to go for walks and explore new places. I’m friendly with everyone I meet. I have a decent amount of energy when I’m outside but I know how to calm down and relax when indoors. I would thrive with an active, loving family—and I’d do great in a home with children. I’m social, affectionate, and ready to give all the love I have to my people. I’m house trained, crate trained, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and healthy. If you think I could be the perfect fit for your family, please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application instructions.

Story
Hi, I’m Polo! My brother Marco and I are best friends and cannot be separated. We are both happy and playful, but Marco is a little more outgoing than I am. I’m a little more reserved and shy. I still love activities like walks, car rides, and playing in the yard. Marco and I are really good boys - housetrained, not mischievous, and can be left alone at home for short periods. We do need a little more practice leash walking. We also need a fenced yard so we can play off-leash together. Since we’re happy with just each other, we don’t want to live with other dogs, cats, or kids under 10. We’re all you need, we promise! If you're interested in adopting us, first fill out an adoption application, and then if you look good the rescue requires a home visit and an excellent vet reference. CLBTRF matches families with dogs based on what the particular dog(s) need and how the family can accommodate those needs. Polo and I need an active family to provide enrichment of walks, hikes and activities in the yard. But most of all, we have to be adopted as a pair. Here's a little more about me: Housetrained? Yes Leash-trained? Yes, but there’s room for improvement Rides well in a car? Yes Good with other dogs? No, just my brother Marco Good with cats? No Good with young children? Yes, okay with respectful children 10 and older. Good with strangers? Yes Shy or confident? A little more shy than Marco, but still friendly! Apartment Friendly? No. Fenced yard required. To apply to adopt Marco and Polo, please visit our website at: CLbostonterrierrescuefoundation.org
