Story
Meet Bruno! This young pup came to us a few weeks ago. He was found in a rural area and was clearly in distress. It appeared he had sustained a head injury, possibly from being hit by a car, or possible from abuse. It is hard to tell. He has been recovering in his foster home and is doing very well. He is an outgoing and sweet little boy. He loves other dogs and all humans though he can be a little hand shy at times. He loves playing in the yard outside and chewing on his toys. He is so much fun. He is a little more wary of men and seems to prefer women but he is easily won over with a bit of patience.  Bruno is generally in good health but his injury has left him with minor neurological damage. His depth perception is not 100%, likely because one side of his brain sustained the injury and cause damage to his eye. He can see but the eye is turned outwards a little bit. He can sometimes turn in a circle, or walk backwards, as if to get his bearings. Overall he is just delightful and his mild impairment just makes him more endearing. Bruno is vaccinated and microchipped. He will be neutered at our cost between 8-12 months of age. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Meet Aggie! This little punkin' came to us from less than ideal conditions. Living in squalor in someone's backyard, without any interaction or attention given to her. She is one year old now and this is what her life was like for her first precious year. We are glad to have her safely with us. It is clear she was not treated kindly. Aggie is an endearing little girl. She is very timid and will look at you a bit fearfully with her big buggy eyes. She is so keen on making a connection though and finds adorable ways to do it, like sneaking up to nibble on your clothes, giving your hands a quick kiss when she is feeling brave. She likes it when you invite her to play - she loves to play. She will need some work to fully trust people but she will get there with some patience.  Aggie's back legs are quite deformed. She was born this way. Her knees are locked in place and her knee caps essentially are non-functional. She gets around very well and is not in pain. She runs, plays, have zoomies all the time. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs, big or small. It is so cute to see her tussle with them. She can't jump on surfaces (like couches or beds) and will struggle with stairs. We had her evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon and unfortunately any surgery is not likely to succeed and can possible make her situation worse. We hope someone will love her just the way she is. And she is just wonderful.  Aggie will need a home with a yard. Longer walks will be hard for her but puttering and playing in the yard is perfect for her. Due to her timid nature, a home with older kids (over 10) is best for her. Aggie is vaccinated, chipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Bella is the sweetest pug I've met so far. She always wants to be the center of attention, on your lap or being held like a baby while you rub her tummy. It takes no time for her to warm up to new people and dogs. Because she wants all the attention she can show subtle signs of leaning towards a dominant role in the pack but nothing aggressive. Bella doesn't bark but she does a lot of talking (best description is a groaning growling throat noise) which makes her humans giggle. She doesn't have the best hearing but her vision is great and she will laser focus on all humans in her realm and she has the biggest puppy dog eyes. Bella has known her sister Barley her whole life and is loyal to her. Their relationship is so sweet and they play well with each other and others. Don't let her age fool you, she is a spunky playful senior and is just a joy to everyone she meets!

Story
Barley is an active senior who loves her Bella the most with her people and other furry friends a close second. She is more sensitive to new surroundings but warms up slowly over time. She loves giving kisses and head rubs are her favorite. She is learning to snuggle on the couch (something she wasn't allowed in her previous home) but mostly enjoys relaxing on her dog beds. She is showing a bit of weakness in her back area but it doesn't stop her from running and playing with Bella. She will leave a few poop nuggets now and then because her lack of feeling in that area sometimes sneaks up on her. We are learning that a potty routine cuts down on these little presents. She LOVES food so it makes for an easy reward when it comes to bathes, nails, ears, etc. Barley isn't a barker (she wasn't allowed to bark in previous home) but will talk to you once in awhile when something is on her mind. This girl is a gem and would fit in with most moderately active families that are willing to talk a bit louder when needed since her hearing isn't the best. But her eyes and nose are on point and she will watch you like a hawk!

Story
Ozzy is a 3-year-old rescue Pug looking for his special family or person to call his own! His foster family thinks he is the perfect blend of being an active/chill dog. Even though he's been through a lot recently, Ozzy has handled his transitions gracefully and with a brave face, much in part to his wonderful temperament and even-keeled disposition. So far, Ozzy has gotten along well with all other dogs he's met (male/female, large/small, etc.), young respectful children, and even cats! He loves to follow around his favorite person, and play with his soft plushy toys. Ozzy is currently working on his leash training and general manners, however he is super food motivated and eager to please. He is also potty-trained. How much more perfect can a dog get?! If you are looking for a family dog or new best friend, then Ozzy is surely your guy. He is warm, sensitive and the best little cuddler a person could ever want. Could it be you?

Story
I may be an older lady, but the vet says Im in good health! They say I have got a strong heart, good vision and hearing, and certified lover girl. Really, he said that! I am working on my house training but no accidents as long as I go out every 3 hours or so right now. Hoping to improve those numbers with time.. I am living proof you can teach an old dog new tricks. I came from a home where they didnt really train me because they said I could get by on my good looks. I am working hard on it though and hope youll be patient and help me out. At least I dont have any bad habits? Your garden is safe from digging and I wont chew on your shoes! I am already really gentle and loving so I dont need any training on that kinda stuff. I just want to be with you 24/7, preferably your lap but Ill take a dog bed as backup if youre busy. I have many siblings so Im awesome with other dogs and getting along with my new foster siblings just fine. I am fine being left alone for longer periods of time because I have them with me. I also like kids and cats too!
