🍰 Meet Emma — The marbled brindle pug with a heart sweeter than cake 🍰 If you’re a pug lover… get ready. Emma isn’t just any pug — she’s a one-of-a-kind little masterpiece. With her unique brindle coat, she looks like a soft, warm, marbled bunt cake you want to scoop up and never put down. But her beauty is only the beginning. Emma is a small, playful, clever, endlessly affectionate, and still full of that adorable puppy-like mischief that keeps you laughing every single day. Abandoned in Mexico, she was found with a void only love could fill — and somehow, through it all, she remained pure and sweet. Here’s what makes Emma unforgettable: ✨ Sweet, loving, and deeply affectionate ✨ Playful & very smart, with a mischievous streak that makes her hilarious ✨ Great with other dogs — she loves a good playmate ✨ Enjoys walks, car rides, and being part of your day ✨ A tiny companion with a huge heart Emma is ready — truly ready — for her forever family. She has waited long enough in Mexico. She has healed, learned to trust, and blossomed into a dog who gives love as fast as she receives it. If you’re a pug lover looking for your new best friend, Emma is your girl. She deserves a home where she’ll finally be cherished, safe, and adored for the rest of her life. 💛 Send in an adoption application if you’d like to meet this marbled little miracle.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in Tumwater, WA LEVI has one of the best personalities ever. He is a fantastic confident loving super playful dog. He loves being on the couch next to his humans. Fine on your lap or snuggling up next to you. He is definitely a Pug maybe mixed with maybe? Is he mixed with some dachshund or some Chihuahua? male that is approximately 3 yrs old. He weighs 14#. He is the ultimate happy, willing to go everywhere, ride in the car, meet new people with a grin on his face. He walks pretty darn well on the leash; is willing to jump in the car; no anxiety; He loves to run and play. He has no fear of anything; loves other dogs… but… possibly we do not know, may be a bit too energetic for cats?. Levi loves attention and will be a great family dog. He would be good in apartments as well as houses with a yard. He is super affectionate and loves to be near his humans on the couch. He was neutered not that long ago, so right now he does wear a belly band and is great about it, doesn't try to rip it off or anything. He is perfect when crated, sleeps through the night in his crate and is super fantastic in his crate, quiet, doesn't chew anything or make any messes whatsoever!!! Absolutely perfect. He loves his bed and gets between the blankets on top of the bed in his crate and its so adorable sometimes only his nose is sticking out!! He loves to sit by you (we do not encourage small dogs to jump, but he does jump on off/couch...... and loves to be snuggled next to his humans. He often will wait till you ask him to come with you, so well behaved. We cannot find any behaviors someone would not adore! If you open the car door looking for something he quickly jumps in! He is up for any adventure you have in mind. Doesn't seem to mind the rain, baths or anything. Happy happy camper. Potty training: He came into foster and once the first day lifted his leg inside. He was immediately corrected (caught in the act). He has not gone to raise his leg inside ever again. A few times, the first few days we had him wearing a belly band. For over two weeks he has not had a belly band on at all and never any accidents NEVER.. We take him out regularly and so easy he does his business pretty promptly. He has not gone to lift his leg EVER again. However, we cannot SWEAR in a new home he wont try to lift his leg so watch him carefully or crate him because it only took us ONE time to correct him in his foster home and he has never done that again in his foster home. He loves his crate with a comfy bed and blankets on top of his crate. He will choose to go in there sometimes to rest He hasn't chewed up anything, seems to know which are the dog toys to play with. He doesn't seem to use any chew dog toys, just likes the sweaky and/or squishy dog toys and a small ball.. He is smart, and we are certain he will be easily trainable because he listens so well. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 8 mos of heart worm prevention medicine. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Yes, the rumors are true. I am a wheelie pug and I am wheelie awesome too. I still have some use of my back legs so I dont need my wheelchair when Im on the grass or carpet, but my foster mom has a lot of slippy floors so she puts me in my wheelchair when shes bopping around room to room so I can follow and try to be the Velcro pug I dream of being. I have been going on lots of adventures lately and my foster mom says Im the best copilot! I love a road trip, especially the snacks part. Can I have one of your fries? I am well behaved and dont bark too much. Foster mom took me on a 3 mile hike and I relaxed in the sling the whole time and looked around at the big beautiful world. We had lunch outside the other day and I just chilled out and enjoyed the sun and smells. She let me roll around a bit and I made new friends everywhere I went! Basically Im the best girl. Lets cuddle.
