Great energetic medium breed pup looking for a nice family with another dog or can be only dog to be doted on! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Yoshi is a 5 mos old (  07/06/2023 DOB)  and 17 lbs Pug/Retriever/Terrier mix (were dumped and DNA done on a littermate).  He is looking for an active mixed breed dog experienced family with a securely fenced yard.  He will do best with another dog companion or an active family.  He likes dogs his size, dog beds, laps, bones (to chew on), couches and toys.  He will do best in an active home with children over 10 years of age.  He is crate trained, loves car rides, walks and dog training. Not sure on exact adult size, but guessing no larger than a medium sized dog as parents are 25 lbs.  No apartments please.  Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
Adorable little Meadow is now 3 mo old and weighs about 7lbs. We expect her to weigh 13-15lbs when full grown. According to dna, she is primarily Pug, Chihuahua and Shih Tzu. She is very outgoing, active and playful so she’d love another dog in the home to run and wrestle with. She is also great with the kitties If there is no other dog, she should at least have frequent play dates. Meadow loves to meet new people so a socially active home would be ideal. A couple of kids over 8yrs old would be great, too. She enjoys running through the yard and exploring so a fenced yard is required. Because of her young age, she shoukd not be left alone for more that 4-5hr intervals.

Story
Madison needs an 2wk foster home, until it’s decided whether or not she needs surgery to remove an excess piece of skin near her eye. This skin does not affect her health or eyesight, but it may need to be removed. She currently is given eye drops twice per day and this will continue for a couple more weeks so hopefully the tissue will resolve on it’s own. If not, we will have it surgically removed and then she is available for adoption. Adorable little Madison is now 3 mo old and weighs about 8lbs. We expect her to weigh about 15lbs when full grown. According to dna, she is primarily Pug, Chihuahua and Shih Tzu. She is a very sweet, somewhat shy girl that will become very active and playful once she gets to know you. She loves to play with other dogs so another dog in the home to run and wrestle with would be ideal. She is also great with the kitties If there is no other dog, she should at least have frequent play dates. Madison loves to meet new people, but can be a bit timid at first so a semi social home would be best. She would also be great with kids over 10yrs old. She enjoys running through the yard and exploring so a fenced yard is required. Because of her young age, she should not be left alone for more that 4-5hr intervals.

Story
Welcome Stevie to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 16- month old Pughuahua is our best guess. He is a small dog at 15 pounds. He has a great appetite and isn’t picky on his food. He currently eats in his crate. He is very puppylike and playful. He loves the small dog tennis balls. He likes all toys and will take the fluff out of them if he can. He is good in a crate and currently best friends with a small female playful dog in his foster home. He likes to run and play. He is crate trained and, on a schedule, will do all business outside. He is learning the doggy door. He does respond to the word “no” and stops what he is doing when you say it. He is good in a car and now good on a leash. He is friendly with dogs after he meets them. He would prefer a family of small dogs or no dogs would also be fine. When he goes outside to do his business, he does like his family to stay out there while he does his business. He will not go in his crate and will bark when he needs to go while in his crate. He was found as a stray on the streets of San Antonio. He was picked up by a good Samaritan after her day’s work. She saw him before work and after work he was still there so she took him home. He is now in a CCPAL foster home getting his training so he will be ready for his new forever home. He is not a big shedding dog, has an adorable underbite and a very cute curly tail. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Caost. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Biggie is approximately 3 years old, he is a sweet boy with lots of energy. He is very strong so although he is not aggressive he is not a good fit for families with small children or babies. Biggie needs a fenced in yard where he can run around when you are not home. Biggie goes potty outside. He is very lovable and needs lots of attention, so if you are home a lot he may be the right pup for you!
