Miranda is a lovely female pug with a sweet, friendly personality and plenty of love to give. She has been through a few medical challenges, including a couple of hernias and a ruptured eye that had to be removed, but she hasn’t let any of that slow her down. Miranda is crate trained, house trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is a very friendly girl who enjoys people and, of course, she absolutely LOVES her food! One thing Miranda feels very strongly about is sharing her meals—she would much rather keep her food all to herself, so she will need to be fed separately from other pets. Miranda may need daily eye drops to help manage dry eye. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with a little personality and a whole lot of charm, Miranda may be your girl! Meet Bell! Bell is a sweet, gentle girl who recently lost her vision and is learning just how capable she really is. Before coming to rescue, Bell lived with her littermate, and after she became blind, the relationship between the two changed. Her littermate began picking on her, and Bell understandably became defensive when the other dog approached. Since coming into foster care, we've gotten to see a completely different side of Bell. She is currently living with a pack of four dogs and has had no issues with fighting. She mostly does her own thing and seems very comfortable sharing her space with the other dogs. And don't tell Bell she's blind, because she certainly doesn't let it stop her! She has already decided that stairs are no big deal and will make her way upstairs all by herself when she wants to be near her people. She's independent, determined, and incredibly sweet. More than anything, Bell loves being close to people. She is showing us every day that losing her sight doesn't mean losing her ability to enjoy life, explore her surroundings, and be part of a family. Bell is looking for a loving home that will give her the security, patience, and companionship she deserves. She may not be able to see you, but she'll have no trouble finding her way into your heart.
