Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Welcome Johnny to CCPAL Rescue. Johnny is a 7-month-old Pug mixed pup. He is a beautiful tan color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a bigger-sized boy pup in the liter. He weighs about 15 pounds now and will be a small dog full grown. He has an adorable underbite and is great with other dogs. He is active but not over the top. He has the curly tail like the traditional pug but maybe the curl is less tight. He is a laid-back boy and was easy to take photos with. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood still and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. Johnny is social and would be a great dog to take to the local coffee shop. He loves all people and is call in loud situations. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. Meet Larry! Larry is a sweet 1-year-old boy who came to Evergreen Pug Rescue after his owner was no longer able to care for him. He can be a little unsure when meeting new friends or exploring unfamiliar places, but with a little patience, his sweet personality has plenty of room to shine! Larry has already been introduced successfully to 13 dogs, both large and small. He may feel a bit insecure at first and can sometimes become overly focused on a new canine friend, so slow, thoughtful introductions are important. Once he has time to settle in and feel comfortable, he generally relaxes. His foster/trainer can share helpful tips to make the transition into his forever home smoother. He has also met quite a few people and done well. Larry is comfortable in his crate whether his foster is home or away, although he may be vocal when crated while his foster is outside. Larry isn't looking for a complicated life-just a family willing to give him time to build confidence, introduce him to new friends thoughtfully, and help him feel secure in his surroundings. With a little patience and understanding, this young sweetheart has so much potential to become a wonderful companion! Meet Goofy! Goofy is a 5-year-old sweetheart who may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little time and you'll discover a lovable boy with plenty of affection to share! Goofy absolutely loves other dogs and finds comfort and confidence in having canine friends around. He enjoys playing with his pack, chasing balls, and hunting down toys that squeak. His favorite things? Belly rubs, playtime, and snuggling with his doggy buddies! He's also making himself right at home with his foster family. On his first night, he slept at the foot of the bed, but it didn't take long for him to work his way up to the head of the bed and snuggle in with all the other dogs. We'd say he's figured out the best sleeping arrangements! Goofy does have hip dysplasia, but he hasn't let that stop him from hopping on and off the couch. His forever family should be mindful of his joint health and work with their veterinarian to help keep him comfortable. Goofy would love a home with another friendly dog (or a few!) to help him feel secure and show him the ropes. With a little patience, plenty of belly rubs, and a squeaky toy or two, this sweet boy is sure to make himself right at home.
