Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Marshals story is one we wont soon forget. When this sweet 3-year-old boy first came into rescue, the condition he was in was heartbreaking. He was absolutely covered in fleasso severely that during his first bath, the water turned black. Getting him to safety felt like a monumental win, and for many of us, it was an emotional moment that brought tears to our eyes. And yet, through everything he had endured, Marshal showed us nothing but gentleness. Despite arriving with a serious eye injury that ultimately required removal of one eye, Marshal has never let his past define him. He adjusted beautifully and moves through life with quiet confidence, grace, and resilience. Marshal is calm, affectionate, and incredibly easy to love. He has a soft, steady presence that makes people feel instantly at ease. He enjoys being near his people, loves a cozy nap, andin one of his most endearing quirksactually enjoys spending time in his crate, treating it as his own safe little sanctuary. Marshal is the kind of dog who reminds you how remarkable resilience can be. His journey may have started with hardship, but his future deserves nothing less than comfort, love, and the forever home hes waited for. Story
Meet Hamletthough around here, he also answers to Hammy. At 4 years old, Hamlet is a charming heartthrob with a whole lot of personality and an even bigger capacity for love. Hamlet is sweet, affectionate, and happiest when hes with his people. He has an easygoing, playful spirit and the kind of face that makes you smile without even trying. Some might say he looks like a living teddy bearand honestly, we can see it. Like many dogs settling into rescue, Hamlet is still polishing up his manners. Hes especially fond of the ladies and can get a little too enthusiastic around female dogs, so he would likely thrive in a home with male dogs or soaking up all the attention as your one and only. He recently had his veterinary exam, was neutered, and is all cleared for adoption! Hamlet is a happy, lovable boy who is ready to find a family that will continue helping him grow while embracing all the charm, affection, and personality that make him so special.
