Story
Grayson is a big, white hunk of love! He is the biggest love bug and cuddly boy you will ever meet. He is a licking machine and will try to give you kisses any chance he gets. And don’t be deceived by his size, all 73 lbs. of this affectionate boxer boy loves to cuddle and act like he’s small enough to be a lap dog. He will play ball, go for walks/hikes, jog with you, or play in the backyard. He’s also a chill boy in the house and will lay in his bed or cuddle with you in yours. He can be active outside and mellow inside, best of both worlds! He loves going on outings and gets excited to go for car rides. Grayson is the ultimate adventure buddy and is always up for anything! Grayson does get a little anxious when left alone and would prefer someone who can hangout with him most of the day and take him on fun adventures! He is very food motivated so you cannot leave him unattended in a room with food or he will find it (and eat it lol)! Grayson loves all people, including kids, and would be a great addition to any family. He can be jumpy when he gets excited, so dog savvy children would be better for him. Grayson does get along with some dogs but can be reactive with others. He is mostly reactive when on the leash but if out in a yard he is very playful and friendly with dogs. We have found that he is great with small dogs male or female! He is a very good playmate and friend to the resident small female dog that lives with him. He can be selective when it comes to bigger male dogs. Overall, Grayson could thrive in a home without other dogs, with small dogs, with dogs who are submissive, or as an only dog. If you think Grayson could be a good fit for you, please apply online to meet him. He is awaiting his forever home that will embrace his loving, goofy self!

She can be a little unsure in new situations and may take some time to settle in, so she would do best with a calm home and slow introductions to new people. Story
Thank you for your interest in this sweet girl. Ella has been adopted, Energetic, loving, and goofy 9-year-old Ella is super sweet but needs a family with an experienced dog owner. A little under 2ft tall and 40 lbs, she's sleek and muscular. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.
She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.
Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts. Ella really loves company so if her new people are gone for a full work day she will need a canine companion. She's leash trained and always excited to jump in the car to visit the park. Ella is a great dog looking for a home where she is loved and cherished. Would you be the one for her?" Ella is now being fostered in Oakland, CA and her adoption fee is $275.00 Arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received. Please contact us at dogzonerescue@yahoo.com for more information about this great gal or for an application to adopt.

Story
Big MamaBig Mama is a big, strong girl with an equally big heart. She's incredibly loving, affectionate, and social-her foster describes her as a "social butterfly around town."She's done well with many of the dogs she's met, is smart and eager to learn, and has picked up an impressive amount of training in a short time. She's learning to be gentle when excited and is even making progress with the cat in her foster home, learning to simply ignore him.Because of her size and strength, Big Mama needs a confident, physically capable handler who can continue her training and reinforce her good manners. In return, you'll get an exceptionally sweet, joyful companion who loves chilling at home as well as adventures! ❤️ Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 90 Age: 7yrs 9mths 0wks

Story
Kay is a lovely girl who has been coming out of her shell and is turning into a social pup. She bonds quickly to humans and likes to stay very close. She doesn’t seem to have any issues with other dogs, and passes them calmly, as long as they don't get too close to her preferred human friend. She is friendly and loving, and will make a great addition to just about any home. Thank you for your support! • I’ve been at the shelter for 30 days or more and weigh over 35 pounds, so the Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services (FoBACS) have SPONSORED MY ADOPTION FEE! Story
Sadie is the sweetest girl and absolutely loves being around people. She is wonderful at meeting new people and greets everyone with a gentle, polite demeanor. She doesn't jump up or become overly excited, making her a joy to introduce to family and friends, and the absolute best party guest. Even my almost 90 year old grandmother who is generally fearful of dogs was impressed by how mellow and well behaved she was when meeting her. Sadie has an amazing recall. One of her favorite games is running back and forth between us while we stand on opposite sides of the backyard, happily racing over each time we call her name. She also loves playing fetch and playing with stuffies. Sadie is well house-trained and has not had any accidents in her time with us. She knows basic commands such as sit, down, paw, and even spin. She patiently sits and waits for the door to be opened before going outside. She also walks beautifully on a leash, enjoying a relaxed, leisurely pace without pulling. Thank you for your support!
