Current Location: Charlestown, WV Hello! My name is Baby Girl! I'm coming to OPH on 3/13. Please check back soon for updates on my personality, and to see adorable new photos. This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Hi, I’m Hannah, and I'm sweeter than a banana :) Socialization: I’m friendly and love hanging out with people, kids and adults alike.  I warm up quickly and thrive with attention. Intelligence: I’m smart and confident.  I’ve already learned commands like “sit,” “wait,” “crate,” "down", "leave it", "stay", and “paw”.  I’m a quick learner!  Give me just a few days and I'll be solving equations ^_^ Training: I’m fully crate trained and actually love being in my crate.  It’s my cozy little den.  I’m still working on potty training, but here's the thing: I love water but have a small bladder. Preferences: I’m a total comfort girl, that's no surprise.  Give me a plush bed and I'll be in heaven.  But if one isn’t there, I'll improvise.  I’ll happily climb into your lap and take a nap. He is at home with a 6 yo child and a 6 months old baby. He LOVES kid. We walk him everywhere and he listen very well. He walks when you walk, run when you run and stop when you stop. He is working on his potty training which is going very well (90% there) and he is sleeping in his crate at night quietly. He is definitely a fast learner. He loves to play and giving hugs.He is very affectionate. We also give him the habits of having potential kids touching his food and pet him while eating, he is absolutely fine with that.
