Story
Meet Thor — a loyal, affectionate, and playful 2-year-old Rottweiler who’s ready to win your heart. Thor is incredibly friendly: he loves playing outdoors, chasing balls, and spending long afternoons running around. He adores interacting with other dogs, making him a perfect fit for a home with a canine companion or someone who frequents dog parks. With kids, Thor is a gentle giant — patient, sweet, and protective. He has been around children and always shows a calm, loving demeanor. He’s not just strong; he’s sensitive, too — quick to cuddle and eager to be part of family moments. From a health standpoint, Thor has his vaccinations fully up to date and is in excellent shape. His veterinary records are ready to go so his new family knows exactly where he stands. The reason for rehoming is not because of behavior — it's purely a life change: his current owner is relocating for school, and, heartbreakingly, won’t be able to give Thor the time and space he deserves.

Story
Bear is 2 and an half and exactly what his name says, he’s like a big teddy Bear, very affectionate, cuddly, playful, but protective. He follows me everywhere and keeps his eye on me and the grandkids while playing with toys or chewing a bone. He likes running, taking walks, and playing fetch, he likes to be petted and brushed. ( a little afraid of a blow dryer) But overall he’s a big protective Bear, not to be mistaken for an aggressor. I want the best kind, peaceful, loving home for him. I can no longer keep him because of landlord issues and myself moving.

Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues

She would do best in a home without children or other pets, as she enjoys being the center of your world. While Liberty can get along with some dogs, she is selective about her canine companions and prefers to choose her friends. She’s housebroken, well-behaved, and walks beautifully on a leash. With a medium energy level, Liberty loves her outings but also knows how to unwind and relax when it's time to settle down. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish your company, Liberty might be the perfect fit!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life.
