We added Snickers to our family when he was 3 months old in 2010. He has lived with a cat for 13 years with no issues. He has lived with men and women of all ages including infants and children. As he gets older (he is now 15 years old) he requires a little more attention than we are able to provide lately. He has slight vision impairment and hearing loss. He is still able to climb up and down steps and eats all of his dry food with no problem! He does not like being picked up due to an injury sustained when he was a puppy. He loves running around and exploring a fenced in space and also lounging around and napping during the day.

Before being rescued, this little guy was abandoned in a backyard, tied to a tree, and survived thanks to kind neighbors who fed him for a month. When his foster mama saved him, he was severely matted and had to be shaved down to the skin. Since then, he’s learned what it feels like to be safe, loved, and comfortable—and now he happily snores the day away in his doggie bed. Oreo Pie hasn’t met a person he doesn’t adore and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and an easy-going, laid-back little man who LOVES food. If he’s hungry (or thinks you’re moving too slow), he’ll let you know—and may even bring you his food bowl as a reminder!
