We love this dog so much but we now live in a 55 and older apartment. It’s not fair to him. He is 6 years old. We have had him since he was 9 weeks old. He is a sweetheart but does not like other dogs or cats. He has never attacked any but he will bark and growl at them. He is not fond of small kids because they can be aggressive. He has never bitten anyone. He really hs been a house dog and never been around other animals or children till we moved into the complex. He is a very lovable dog. He does love sitting on your lap. If he sees a lap he jumps on it. He is a great watch dog. He hears something and will bark. He also loves watching television. He watches more tv than we do.He does have a problem with potty training. We have tried everything to no avail. We just cannot fight it anymore since we moved into an apartment. So beware of this. We are 79 and 86

Story
This is Loki, god of mischief! He is a curious fellow, sometimes getting into things he shouldn't, although he also likes to cuddle with his people. Loki is 2 years old and weighs about 6 lbs. He got a close haircut because someone before had not brushed him so he was a mess, but we saved a little on his head, ears and tail, and of course it will grow back! Loki doesn't mind being brushed, but he wasn't too sure about clippers or baths. He loves to play with toys for his size and chew on bones. He is not scared of bigger dogs, and tries to take toys away from them, - luckily he's cute so they let him get away with it, sometimes. He can be a little barky when he doesn't get his way, so not good in an apartment. We think he would do okay with older (10 yrs+) kids, but he would do fine in an adult only household. He is slowly learning boundaries (he will get in your face and fly into your lap with no warning) and he is working on house training. He sleeps in his crate at night and does not have unsupervised access to the household yet. He will have you laughing at his antics, most of the time! Loki has heartworms because he was not kept on heartworm prevention. Humane Tomorrow will pay for his treatment with one of our partner vets. Sweet Lona is a funny senior with a lot of confidence and love to give. She does fine with other dogs except at dinner time and she doesn’t like to share. She is a bold 12 yo, aging well. Only needs drops for dry eye.
