Story
Ames is a 15-lb, 2-year-old Shih Tzu mix, is ready to find his forever home! Ames is a happy, joyful little guy who truly loves life. He enjoys playing with his toys and is always up for a game of fetch. Watching him race around the backyard doing zoomies is pure happiness. Ames would thrive in a home with another small to medium-sized dog who enjoys playtime and a good game of chase. He does bark when his foster parents first leave the house, but this behavior continues to improve, with the barking time getting shorter as he settles. When it’s time to relax, Ames is all about the snuggles. He’ll curl up beside you on the couch and before you know it, he’s climbed into your lap, happily snoring away. Ames is potty-trained and kennel-trained. He has been non-destructive in his foster home and does not require kenneling when his foster parents are away. At night, he prefers sleeping in his kennel, where he settles in comfortably. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2631905##

Story
Meet Dylan! Dylan is an adorable bundle of BIG dog energy in a munchkin frame. Don’t let his size fool you, Dylan will bring puppy energy all day long! He loves dog toys, being outside, and playing with his foster dog siblings. However Dylan can be a bully, so meet and greet with other dogs at the home is a must. Because of his energy and play style, Dylan needs an experienced dog owner. He will need a home with a backyard (no apartments) that he has regular access to, either a doggy door or some one home to let him out often. Dylan will thrive with another dog, especially a big one, that matches his energy! He is currently finishing heartworm treatment and will be available for adoption on February 10th.

Story
Meet Luca & Luna! Luca and Luna are a sweet, bonded pair believed to be father and daughter, and they’re looking for a home where they can stay together forever. Both dogs are a bit on the timid side at first, but they’re friendly, gentle, and warm up quickly once they feel safe. These two come with some wonderful built-in skills: they have their basic manners down pat, are fully housebroken, walk nicely on leash, and are crate-trained. Their calm, well-mannered nature makes them a joy to have around, whether you’re out for a walk or relaxing at home. Luca and Luna take comfort in each other and would do best in a patient, loving home that understands shy dogs and can give them a little time to settle in. In return, you’ll be rewarded with loyal, affectionate companions who thrive on routine, reassurance, and companionship. If you’re looking to open your heart to not one, but two wonderful dogs who are already best friends, Luca and Luna would love to meet you. ##2611364##

Story
Corey was at a local shelter. He is super cute and happy. He is energetic and likes chewing on bones and learning about toys. He is approximately 5 years old according to our vet. He will get a dental soon. He is great with all dogs but he runs around a lot so probably needs a younger dog to live with. He weighs about 9 lbs. ##2640502##
