Story
Yoo-Hoo! I'm Beluga! I'm a 1 year old, 46 pound, spayed female Boxer. I'm an energetic young gal who loves to play! I'm deaf and still full of high-energy exuberance. My new family should be familiar with or willing to learn how to live with, train, and care for a deaf doggy. I'm a goofy and sweet girl full of wiggly energy! As a boxer, I love to jump, explore, and go on adventures. My new family will have had some experience with boxer playstyle and be ready for training! I'm super affectionate, but sometimes I say it by jumping really high, so I need a home with older kids and if you have dogs at home, they need to comfortable with my puppy playstyle. I would like to meet everyone in the household, including any resident dogs, before I go home. I would really love to be in a home with people who are going to spoil me and understand what a unique and lovely dog I am!  Beluga ID #A936302  If you are interested in meeting with me, please submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to adoptinquire@peninsulahumanesociety.org and an adoption counselor will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet in person. You must be 18 or older to submit an application. Please make sure to include in the application that you are interested in meeting me. Story
Cassie is a two-ish-year-old boxer mix. She is about sixty pounds. She is charming, and once she gets to know you, you’ll be her favorite person (especially if you give her head rubs 🥰). She is very playful and high-energy. She loves to run around and play with toys but also loves a good couch nap. She is still working through some puppy behaviors, such as jumping up when excited and being okay with being alone. She is learning leash manners and doing well( she loves walks!!). She is reactive in certain situations but can be redirected. She is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs (a male and a female). She would do best in a home with one playful but easygoing male or as the only dog. She also has a high prey drive, so no cats or small animals.

Story
Energetic, loving, and goofy 9-year-old Ella is super sweet but needs a family with an experienced dog owner. A little under 2ft tall and 40 lbs, she's sleek and muscular. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.
She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.
Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts. Ella really loves company so if her new people are gone for a full work day she will need a canine companion. She's leash trained and always excited to jump in the car to visit the park. Ella is a great dog looking for a home where she is loved and cherished. Would you be the one for her?" Ella is now being fostered in Oakland, CA and her adoption fee is $275.00 Arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received. Please contact us at dogzonerescue@yahoo.com for more information about this great gal or for an application to adopt.

Story
Cash and June are 7 years old. Their owners divorced and the individual that was taking care of them left the dogs to the full time working individual and was not willing to continue to care for the dogs. These dogs need a home where they will be taken on walks and give them the attention and love they deserve. They either spend the day in the dog run until they are put up in a crate in the garage for the night. They have about 5 minutes of interaction each day. Cash and June are very sweet dogs and need a good loving home where they can be part of a family. Really hoping to keep this brother and sister together.
