Story
Cami is a fairly new member of The Pet Connection's team. She's around eight years old and is a very polite house guest as she already knows to do her business outside. She is such a sweet, shy girl who wants desperately to be loved. It's going to take her a while to trust people and she'd appreciate a quiet home where there aren't a bunch of visitors coming and going. She also prefers to be your one and only pooch, if you don't mind. She promises to love you to the moon and back, though! Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on Cami. She's staying with us in Beloit, Kansas, but transport is available to the right home. #thepetconnection #adoptdontshop #socute #happy

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Virginia (virginiak@tarasdream.org) for more information about this pet. Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process.    Colonel is a bit of a Velcro dog and needs someone who can spend a lot of time with him. He is a very good boy who still needs some obedience training. He is house trained and is able to be left to roam when nobody is home. Colonel's favorite things are his pork chews, his blue soccer ball, his foster brother dog, and people. He could play “soccer” with you for hours and would thrive with an athletic family that can keep up with him. He loves to cuddle and sleep in bed with you. Colonel does well with other dogs, cats, and chickens but would be best in a home with no older animals and no small children as he is still working on containing his energy and might be too much for them. Approximate Birthdate:   March 2023 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.     For more information please fill out an application.     CONTACT INFO The Animal Rescue Alliance (TARA) Web site: tarasdream.org Adoption Information & Applications: https://tarasdream.org/adopt Upcoming Adoption Events: https://tarasdream.org/events Email: email@tarasdream.org June 16, 2024, 2:34 pm

Hey there, my name is Milo! I’ve been at the shelter for a while now, but before I came here I was living in a homeless camp. My rescuer found me in a bad situation and brought me to my PAWS family. I am an energetic guy, and I love to run and wrestle with my canine friends. I play in doggy daycare every day! My motto is: Play hard, Nap hard. I can be shy when first meeting people, but once I get to know you I’m sure I’ll love you! I love to snuggle and I appreciate a nice, warm blanket.  I’ve only been in a house a couple times in my life, so I’ll need to learn the ropes, but I am a quick learner and I promise I’ll make you proud! Story
Brutus is truly a sweet boy. It has been such a pleasure watching his personality grow over the last 10 months. He loves to fetch, explore his puzzles, and cuddle on the couch. He is shy in new surroundings but warms up quickly. When he wants to snuggle, he will plop his body down on our lap and roll around. If he doesn't feel like snuggling, he will sit by himself chewing on a toy or resting. Brutus would do best in a female house setting and no little kids. He will verbally express his boundaries if you try to interrupt his "me time, but sometimes it's necessary to retrieve what he has in his mouth such as a stick from the yard. This beautiful boy is ready for his forever home! He is house and kennel trained. Brutus will come with age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $200. Apply to Adopt Brutus today at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog or at www.lucky13rescue.org.

Story
We love sweet Bella! this girl was transferred to us by a "rescue" that was getting shut down, and sadly Miss Bella was there a while. She is now healthy and happy, and just needs to find her forever home. We are not sure of her breed mix, but she seems to have some collie or shepherd in there somewhere. Bella is a lovely girl who truly spends most of her time cuddled up next to someone enjoying all the attention she can or not so quietly sleeping. (this girl can snore, which is quite cute) She is food motivated and can't wait to learn what a life in a home is all about. Midwest Animal ResQ offers a 30-day adjustment period within which you can evaluate the pet's progress and your adoption decision. If, within those 30 days, you determine your recently adopted pet isn't a good fit, you may return the animal and receive a MARQ credit that can be used toward the adoption of another animal. Our biggest priority is finding the very best match for you, and Completing Families one Tail at a Time! All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.
