Hey there, my name is Milo! I’ve been at the shelter for a while now, but before I came here I was living in a homeless camp. My rescuer found me in a bad situation and brought me to my PAWS family. I am an energetic guy, and I love to run and wrestle with my canine friends. I play in doggy daycare every day! My motto is: Play hard, Nap hard. I can be shy when first meeting people, but once I get to know you I’m sure I’ll love you! I love to snuggle and I appreciate a nice, warm blanket.  I’ve only been in a house a couple times in my life, so I’ll need to learn the ropes, but I am a quick learner and I promise I’ll make you proud! If you are interested in learning more about me, apply to meet me today! May 27, 2024, 11:34 am

Story
Brutus is truly a sweet boy. It has been such a pleasure watching his personality grow over the last 8 months. He loves to fetch, explore his puzzles, and cuddle on the couch. He is shy in new surroundings but warms up quickly. When he wants to snuggle, he will plop his body down on our lap and roll around. If he doesn't feel like snuggling, he will sit by himself chewing on a toy or resting. He will verbally express his boundaries if you try to interrupt his "me time, but sometimes it's necessary to retrieve what he has in his mouth such as a stick from the yard. This beautiful boy is ready for his forever home! Brutus will come with age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250. Apply to Adopt Brutus today at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog or at www.lucky13rescue.org.

Story
Ivy was found with her littermates and parents in the woods in Oklahoma. They caught everybody and put them into foster homes. I adopted her for my mom Who lives in California, but by the time I got out there with her my mom had hurt her hip so bad she is going to need surgery. So I brought Ivy home with me to foster and decided to find her someone else since my mom's recovery is going to be a long one. So Ivy did a 6000 mile road trip with me right from the get-go. She did amazing! I couldn't believe how calm and relaxed she was in my truck driving all day. The only issue I've had with her is she is afraid of strangers. Everywhere I go I bring treats with me and people are happy to feed her. After a couple of treats she is in their pocket. She walks on a leash grate, sits on command, and is an extremely smart dog already. I live on a farm with horses and cows and goats and chickens and she does great. I expect her to be around 40 pounds full grown. I have lots of pics and videos!
