Meet Chloe! This beautiful 1 yr old 40 lbs Cattle Dog mix is typical of her breed in intensity and intelligence. She is an agility machine, up for anything and everything you want to do with her! She is a quick learner and has been excelling in her training. She is a sweet girl who loves people. Chloe is perfect for an active household. She is crate and housetrained. Chloe will thrive in a forever home with plenty of exercise. She will do fabulous in a large fenced yard. She would like nothing more than to be your wingman. Chloe loves hiking and going to hang out at wineries and breweries. How can you resist those blue eyes and her bring-it-on, can-do attitude! Chloe is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Story
Mossy is a great dog! He is a cheerful, snuggly 3 year old, 48 lb cattle dog mix. Mossy enjoys fetching a ball or stick, over and over, and has amazing eye-mouth coordination, always catching the ball on the first bounce! He really loves playing in water, even in cold weather, and rolling in the snow. He loves people and other dogs with proper introductions. A chill, well-balanced dog that likes to play would be the best match for him. Mossy is a wonderful, incredibly loyal dog who will do anything to make his people happy! He is housebroken, crate trained and does well walking on a leash. He is too interested in cats, so he is not recommended for a house with cats unless someone wants to put a lot of work into desensitizing him. Mossy will require a yard in his forever home to get the exercise typically needed by cattle dogs and to keep his brain engaged. He would love to go on hikes, maybe do some agility and he rides perfectly in the car. XX is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. These pups are cute, cute, cute!!! They are very playful and happy. There is a litter of 4 of which the Daddy a purebred Blue Heeler. Mom is just a brown mutt. They were born on 1/24/2024. They are going to be medium-sized dog when grown… 30-45#s. This pup is GULLIVER...the LARGEST Male of the bunch. There are 2 other male pups - GUCCI, , and GUMBALL (pictures also listed with this ad). Gulliver, in particular, is the big Teddy Bear… everyone wants to cuddle up to him and he picked up on it quickly. Everyone picks him out of the group to hug. These will be great family dogs. The smart Blue Heeler (aka Australian Cattle Dog) has the brains to be good dogs on the ranch but it does require training. Heelers are active dogs and need to have lots of attention and love. They are known for their “heeling” capability and will herd anything available to include children. One man told the story of watching his Heeler herding his kid and the neighbor kids away from the forbidden gorge and back to the house. Heelers are known for being great Frisbee catchers and they love water. They are not yet house trained. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at petcentralsatx@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Age: 2 years Size: 58 pounds Estimated breed: Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix Spotty needs a home with: resident dog(s), fenced in yard, no young children   Update 7/7:  Spotty is super dog social guy who needs to be with other dogs. He absolutely adores every dog he meets. Spotty is still a little reserved around people but has been making huge strides and seems to improve every day! He has gone through professional training to work on self- confidence and is able to go on walks now and trust more than he used to. Spotty is super submissive and needs a home with a very social dog that will hang out and play with him all day. He loves to play with dogs more than anything. Spotty is also house trained and crate trained. He requires a fenced yard as he can get spooked and we don’t want to take chances of him trying to flee. Spotty has endless potential if you give him the time and patience he needs and deserves to come out of his shell! -------- Spotty is estimated to be about 1.5 years old and 45 pounds. He was found as a stray in SC and was completely petrified at the shelter. He sat in a corner shaking and had to be carried just to move out of his kennel. He came to us very nervous and shy but with the help of his canine friends, he is slowly learning to trust and thriving in his foster home. He has also met and done training with our trainer where he is now comfortable going for walks on a leash and exploring the outdoors!   Spotty gains comfort from other dogs, so he requires a home with a friendly resident dog to help show him the ropes. Spotty would do best in a home without young children as he is still gets timid around new people and retreats. With time and patience, he will show his new family how goofy and happy he really is. All he needs is someone who is understands that just needs a little time to know he is safe. His best quality..... he is AMAZING with other dogs and wants to be their best friend. If you have a dog that has been wanting a sibling, Spotty is your guy!   To adopt Spotty, please apply on our website! www.keytolionsheart.org/adopt   Please note we cannot guarantee the breed or adult size of any of our dogs. All of our dogs are working on their crate and house training. April 16, 2024, 7:20 pm

And if you pat your thighs and sing, "Good boy, good boy," he will reward you with a happy little dance with his front paws. At the height of his excitement, he will start throwing the ball around for himself and pawing at it like he's playing soccer! Please contact Paul Slebzak (pauls@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.young girl looking for her forever family! TRINITY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Trinity and other great adoptable dogs this Saturday (April 20th) from 12-2 pm at Dogma Bakery in Arlington (2772 S Arlington Mill Dr, Arlington, VA 22206)!   Name: Trinity       Best Guess for Breed: Australian cattle dog and blue heeler mix     Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of Sept. 2023         SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:   32 lbs   Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven’t seen Trinity with cats, but she can be tested! Due to her shyness, Trinity should not go to a home with kids under 12.   Check out video of Trinity here! https://youtu.be/4f65xnUJE2s and https://youtu.be/0CD-rPXoo6U   Currently Living at:   DC area foster homeSpecial Adoption Considerations: Because Trinity is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. Due to her shy personality, we do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12.   All About Trinity:    Meet Trinity, the one-year-old Blue Heeler mix who's ready to become your faithful companion and partner in adventures! With her stunning coat featuring a mix of blue, white, and black, Trinity is not just a sight to behold but also a bundle of intelligence and affection. Trinity is a dynamic and spirited young dog who thrives on both physical activity and mental stimulation. Whether it's a brisk jog, a game of fetch, or a puzzle toy to challenge her intellect, she's always up for the task. Her sharp mind and eagerness to please make her a quick learner, so training and teaching her new tricks will be a joy! But Trinity's true charm lies in her loving nature. She's a sweet and affectionate companion, always ready to shower you with tail wags and cuddles. Whether you're seeking an energetic partner for outdoor adventures or a loving friend to curl up with at the end of the day, Trinity is the perfect mix of enthusiasm and devotion. If you're ready to provide her with a forever home filled with love and activity, come meet Trinity and make her a part of your family today.  What My Foster Says About Me:   Trinity is a very joyful and fun-loving dog. While she can be shy when initially meeting new people it only takes her a few minutes and a couple treats to begin warming up. She obeys the lay down and sit command for treats. Trinity is very loving and affectionate and has been amazing with my kids. She loves to cuddle up with them and get lots of love. She is a herding dog and may playfully nip when overly excited but has been doing very well when redirected to a toy. She loves to be right with her people and will stick by your side. She enjoys playing with her toys in the house, prancing and tossing them in the air, jumping up, and pouncing on them. Outside, Trinity is always up for walks in the neighborhood, chasing balls and sticks in the yard, a good chew toy, sniffing and exploring, and playing in the water! Trinity is very social and loves playing with other dogs. So far, she hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t like and doesn’t want to play with. She has been playing wonderfully with my resident dog and our two other foster puppies. Trinity is still somewhat cautious around new people when out on walks, as well as with lots of street traffic and loud and sudden noises. While these can startle Trinity she settles fairly easily with some reassurance and would do well with continued exposure to new experiences. Trinity has done amazing in her crate sleeping through the night with no noise and no accidents and is becoming a pro with the crate command.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Story
Chica-at-a-glance: 3 year old, female, spayed, Blue Lacy, 60 lbs., up-to-date on core vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Chica takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Chicken Sandwich, aka Chica, is a smart and playful 3 year old Blue Lacy.  She's a strong girl who pulls a little on the leash (we're working on this) but pays little attention to other dogs and people on walks -- just enjoys her time outdoors with her people. Chica loves car rides and other energetic dogs (with proper introductions, of course). She will do best in a home with adults and a yard to run around in.  Chica thinks that all of the toys are hers and isn't too keen on sharing with other dogs so her adoptive family will need to be mindful of that if Chica's going to have a fur sibling.  She loves her stuffies so much that she'll often carry one outside with her, even just for a potty break! Chica's dream day would be exploring new horizons.  She would love to hike in a new spot and smell the new smells! After adventuring, she would love to relax with a nice bone and hang out with her people on the couch.  She will make sure your yard is squirrel free before she curls up with you for movie night. Also, bellyrubs. Definitely bellyrubs.    Interested in adopting? Of course you are! Submit an application here! April 19, 2024, 4:57 pm
