Story
Jade's owner passed away and she and her brother needed to find new homes. Her brother found a home because he is cat friendly and now Jade needs one. She is a herding breed and would do best with older kids as she reacts to quick movements and no cats. Jade is used to having her brother around so she might be a good companion for another young dog medium to larger however she is also independent and would be fine by herself. Jade enjoys her toys and is playful. This breed is high energy and can be bossy but she is a very quick learner. Her foster mom is currently working on training manners with her. Jade is also crate trained. Her current foster home has 2 dogs and no children. Jade is microchipped and weighs about 37 pounds. Est birthdate 3/17/23

Story
Hi My name is Fancy . I am estimated to be 1.5 years old. I am a very sweet girl, but I have a very quirky personality. I am very good in the house , riding in the car and walking on a leash. When you first meet me , I act scared to death. My mom rejected me and my siblings at 2 weeks old. My foster mom thinks it is part of the reason I lack confidence when we first meet. It just takes a few times of meeting with you, and I get very attached and do not act so scared. I defiantly bond very fast to women. Once I feel comfy around you , I act just like every other dog. I love to give kisses , play with my toys and go for walks on the leash. I love my crate ; it is a great safe spot for me in the house. I love fresh carrots for a treat or a big rawhide to chew on. I have lived with several dogs before and enjoy their company. All my vet work is done, and I am microchipped. My adoption fee covers transport from Tennessee. I can be a very good loyal companion in the right setting. I would love a female owner and no young kids in the house with me. I don’t necessarily need a fenced in yard if you walk me on a leash every day.

Meet Bluey! Doesn’t he look like the perfect companion to tell all of your secrets to? He has that half-knowing smile that says “I know something but I’m not gonna tell you what it is.” He is an absolute sweetheart that could use some confidence-building. Loud noises cause him to be a bit skittish. His favorite past time is playing fetch with tennis balls outside. He is crate and play-pen trained. Bluey’s potty training is also coming along well. Bluey has been neutered, given age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, is heartworm negative, and on prevention. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet.
