Story
This is Squirrel.  She's a sweet and spunky 6 month old pup.  Squirrel loves people and does well with kids. She is great with the resident dogs and is sure she will eventually win over the affections of the cat!!  Squirrel is crate trained and  is working hard on her house manners.   Her hobbies include exploring the yard, destroying any and all stuffed toys, and playing chase with the other dogs.  She loves treats, chin scratches and long snoozes on a soft blanket stretched out in the sun.  Squirrel is a fun, loving girl who is excited to find her forever home! Story
Bullseye turned out to be a dog that needs lots of play time , exercise and outside time. Beings he was mix breed and I met him at 2 weeks I did not know this. My schedule does not allow for this and he is spending too much time in his pen. I want him to live his best life and get his needs met. He does have Texas red heeler in him so he likes to herd things. He is not good with small dogs as he plays hard with our 100# dog. Also plays hard so smaller children under 10 would be difficult. He is a loving sweet dog and loves attention. He has skin allergies and requires supplements.

Story
Meet Bandit! Bandy, as we call him, is the most chill puppy we have ever seen! So much so, we cannot believe he is only 6.5 months old! Whether your day entails going for a stroll in the park or a lazy day on the couch, Bandy will be right by your side! Speaking of being right by your side, this boy is amazing on the leash, no pulling at all! Even when he sees a squirrel or rabbit, he's curious but not interested in catching it! With that being said, he hasn't been cat tested but with his low prey drive I think he could get along with a feline sibling well! Bandit is able to coexist with other dogs with ease, whether hanging out or playing. He instantly took to our young children in the home and is getting better about not jumping on people when greeting them.  Bandit is very loving and loyal and a smart boy.  He is house and crate train- he even rings the bell to go outside!!  He is learning new things every day and is excited to join his forever home! Does Bandit sound like the perfect match for your family? If you would like to meet Bandit, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.

Story
Are you looking for a car-riding, casual strolling, sun-loving goofy girl? That's me!! Put me in the car and I will fall asleep in minutes! My foster mom takes me to the park where I love a casual sniff walk. Those fast-paced walks aren't for me! I love to smell the roses along the way and enjoy the sights! During the day I have no problem being in my crate when the humans are away and I even sleep in it at night! I am ready to chill out for the night by about 8pm. You will find me stretched out on the bed waiting for some cuddles!! Let's meet up and talk more about ME!! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $475To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hi, my name is Lydia and I am so grateful to be in Minnesota! Not only was I made for this weather, but I am looking forward to finding my forever family. I am pretty shy when meeting someone new, but I warm up quickly and will trust you if you show me kindness, patience, and love. I love to go outside! I like to take walks on my leash and learn new tricks. I would play fetch all day if you could throw my ball that long. I am happy and quiet in my crate during the workday if my mom has to go into work. I am comfortable with my new digs and love taking naps on my very own bed. I am fully house-trained and know that the bathroom is outside. I am good at letting you know I need to go out by whining and heading toward the door. I love to play with all my toys and my foster brother (who is MUCH bigger than me). I have a few special stuffed animals that pretty much go wherever I go. Usually, I try to fit them all in my mouth at once. I am still getting used to the world around me so I can be timid of something or someone new. Sometimes I get spooked by everyday things, but I feel safe with a little reassurance and looking back to my human. I am always curious and learning more each and every day with my foster mom exposing me to all kinds of new things and experiences. I am confident with many of my commands and I usually know what is expected of me. I have learned how to sit, stay, come, shake, get down/off, walking on a leash, and I’m working really hard on roll over and wait. I am very eager to learn and perform. My foster mom says that I am great at independent play as long as I have a few toys to play with. Although playing fetch or eating nighttime ice cubes are my favorite activities, my absolute favorite is falling asleep on my back to belly rubs by my human. I fall asleep even faster when my foster mom holds my paw.My foster family tells me I must be part snow dog because I cannot get enough playtime in the snow. I love being near my people or my foster brother. I am very gentle with my humans and I like to spend my days chasing toys or my tail, followed by snuggling with you for a long nap. My foster mom says I am sweet, kind, very smart, and silly. I have learned that my facial expressions make my mom laugh, but I’m just being me! I am so silky and soft to pet and boy do I enjoy getting loved on by people. I will show my appreciation with snuggles and kisses. If you’re looking for a new loyal family member, playmate, and snuggle buddy, look no further. My foster mom tells me I deserve everything life has to offer! Everything I have been through has brought me here to you, my new family. I will be dedicated to you and you will never question my love for you. Will you be my new family and my entire world?--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption.
