Hello there! My name is Otis, and I just wanted to introduce myself. They tell me I have an infectious smile, and I can't help it—I'm just a really happy guy! My favorite things in the world are tasty treats and making you proud. Because I'm highly food-motivated and eager to please, I already know a few basic commands, and I'm always ready to learn something new!I'm a good boy inside, too. I'm housetrained and totally comfortable in my kennel. It's my cozy little den, and I'll settle right in for my naps during the day and for a good night's sleep. When it comes to my friends, I'm the best! I get along wonderfully with other dogs when we're playing off-leash. And kids? Oh, I'm super gentle and patient with them. They're the best to cuddle with! Now, I do have to be honest about a couple of things. I'm still learning my manners when I'm on my leash—I don't love it when strange dogs get too close. I'm working hard on that! Also, I have a big voice and I like to use it to let you know what's going on... so an apartment probably wouldn't be the best fit for my opera singing.I'm playful, affectionate, and ready to be an active, cherished member of your family. All I need is a loving home where I can share my big smile with you every single day!Are you ready to meet your best friend? I know I am!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Hi there, I’m Barney - yep, that Barney! Big-hearted, friendly, and always ready for fun. I may not be purple, but I’ve definitely got the “I love you, you love me” vibes down pat. At 2 years old, I’m the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. I adore meeting new friends, both human and furry, and I’m an expert napper and top-tier cuddler.I’m still polishing up my house manners, but I’m a smart boy—think of me as your very own dino-in-training. With a little guidance, I’ll have everything down in no time. I love playing with other dogs, but I’d also be totally happy being your one and only sidekick. And great news—I don’t need a fenced yard; I’m just excited to go wherever my people go.If you’re looking for a cheerful, affectionate buddy who’s always ready to play, then curl up, then play again… I think we could make a dino-mite team!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hi, my name is Jojo, will you be my best friend? I certainly want to be yours and will make sure you feel loved and paid attention to all the time. I am the perfect size (a little under 30 pounds) for cuddles but I also love running around outside and going on walks. I walk well on a leash but prefer to walk when there aren’t many other dogs around. I have to be the only pet in the house as I want all your attention and I am most comfortable with adults. I would be happiest in a quieter household with a regular routine. Besides being your bestie I love bones and food puzzles. I do my best to listen to commands like sit and lay down and am ready to learn more. I truly aim to please always. I am fully potty trained and crate trained. I am used to sleeping in my crate and eating in there too. I have been through a lot so I can be nervous at times but your affection and care will be all I need to become your life long companion.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedure completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. Story
Rusty, Sweet neutered male, is a bit shy at first but warms up to people quickly. Rusty plays well with other dogs and is curious about cats. He lives in a home with five cats, 2 dogs and a 7 year old. He loves playing fetch with the ball and is working on bringing it back and dropping the ball. Rusty does well in his kennel at night, and when no one is home. He uses a dog door and is house trained. Rusty likes to go on walks however it is best to go early in the morning or late in the day when there is not a lot of traffic or people. He gets scared by the cars. And since we have no idea what kind f life he had before he was saved by the rescue, it is just something he needs practice and confidence building ;) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Gretle (aka Liza Jean) This adorable little masked bandit will steal your heart and your blanket- and no she is NOT wearing a mask! That is her gorgeous coloring!! She's so full of love and energy in an adorable little package. Her foster mom says, "She's been an amazing playmate for our dog! She will play hard and love hard. She just seems to know when I need extra love- I have had some medical issues lately so TONS of cuddles from this wonderful pup. It's not a typical kind of cuddle, she has her OWN love language. The little darling will snuggle her head on me with her butt in the air- the whole cuddle session. When she's satisfied she's given enough love, she'll flop down asking for her OWN belly rubs. This kiddo can't get enough of em. She's gotten along with my dogs and with supervision she's learning to be ok with my cats. We're still working on the cats part. She just so so so wants to have her own family who will play with her, let her cuddle them and then give her the celebratory belly rubs. Not TOO much to ask for this very smart and very happy girl!" Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
🐾 Hi there, I’m George! 🐾I’m a 4-year-old, 58-pound adventurer with a big heart! I’m still working on putting on a few healthy pounds, but I promise I’ve got plenty of energy and enthusiasm to share while I get there.I love exploring, playing, and going on adventures — I’m always up for a hike, a walk, or a romp with another fun-loving dog who can keep up with me. I’ve also just discovered how awesome toys are! I’m learning to play and really starting to enjoy them — they make me so happy.I’m housetrained so you can check that off your list! As for the kennel, I’ll admit… I’m still learning to like my kennel (it’s a work in progress), but I respond well to training when someone’s patient and consistent with me. What I really need is a family who will help me stay healthy, commit to my training, and give me all the love and structure I deserve. If you’re looking for a loyal, outgoing adventure buddy who’s full of spirit and ready to grow (literally and figuratively!), then I can’t wait to meet you. Let’s make some memories together!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
*Nosh’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Hello, I’m Nosh! I am a 2 ½ year old lady looking for the perfect sanctuary to call my very own. I am housetrained and ready to settle into a cozy and quiet home. I am not particularly fond of kids, men or my kennel. When my foster mom is away from the house I calmly rest on the couch until she arrives back home. I am always so excited to see her when they come home! I will thrive with a patient and understanding adopter who will give me the time and space to adjust to my new surroundings. New things are very scary to me! But once I get settled in, I am very loyal and I promise to snuggle with you often! I will need a home that has a fenced in yard as I don’t like to do my business when people are too close to me. I enjoy going for walks in quiet places. My foster mom usually takes me for a stroll through our neighborhood but she makes sure we keep our distance from others. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion who appreciates a peaceful life, I might just be your girl! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
