Story
Hi there! My name is Charlie, aka “Charles Charleston”. I am soft to the touch, sweet on the heart, and fast for love. My favorite activities are fetch, walks, car rides, and playing with my humans or foster dog siblings in the yard. After which I can usually be found curled up for a nap or snuggling close to my foster parents for some love. I am looking to be someone’s best friend — someone who will love me for both my spirit and my kind heart. I have working dog genes, so I am intelligent, love learning new tricks (especially if treats are involved), and lean into the ones I already know when life gets exciting. I wait in my kennel for mealtime, sleep through the night, wait at doorways for the cue, am house-trained, minimally bark, know sit, down, stay, and break. Do you have a new trick you can teach me? My foster mom says that I am endlessly loyal with the most affectionate heart. She can rarely be out of sight, and if we are just hanging out, I can usually be found with some extremity touching her so she knows I am there. In her words, “Charlie loves having a job or something to focus on, but what makes him happiest is spending time with his people, soaking up attention, and sharing cuddles. He will bring joy, adventure, and plenty of love to the right home. If you are looking for your next best friend who will both keep you busy and smiling, he is your guy.” Not too shabby, don’t you think? So… could you be my new best friend? If you would like to meet Charlie, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.

Story
Hi, I’m Fred—and if sunshine had a personality, it would be me! ☀️🐶I’m a happy-go-lucky pup who brings light wherever I go, filling every room—and every adventure—with my joyful, playful energy. I’m all about connection, excitement, and being right by your side… whether we’re splashing at the lake or curling up for cozy couch snuggles after the perfect day together.I’m a pretty smart guy, too! I’m already crate-trained and settle in nicely at bedtime or when my foster family is away. I’m doing very well with my potty routine on a consistent schedule, and I love learning new things—especially when treats are involved (food is my love language… yum!).If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I truly adore people. I’m gentle, sweet, and especially thoughtful with kids of all ages. One of my favorite parts of the day is softly greeting my 2-year-old foster sister each morning—it’s the best way to start the day. I also get along great with dogs, both big and small. Whether I’m zooming around with my bigger buddies or playing gently with the little ones, I’m just happy to be part of the fun.If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be sunshine. I’m happy, resilient, and full of life. I thrive on being close to my people—whether that means heading out on an adventure or soaking up belly rubs at home.I absolutely love being outside, and water is my favorite! Lake days, puddles, sprinklers—you name it, I’m all in. People also can’t help but notice my beautiful red-brindle coat that seems to glow in the sunlight and my silly ears that can never quite agree on which direction they want to go (usually one up, one down!).If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion to share both your everyday adventures and your quiet moments with, I might just be your perfect match. I would love to meet you and show you just how special life together could be… I have a feeling it’ll be love at first tail wag. 🐾--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $500To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hello there! My name is Betty, and I’m a sweet little puppy with a gentle heart and so much love to give. Just like the cheerful Stone Age character I’m named after, I have a warm, friendly personality and a way of making the people around me feel happy and welcome.I love spending my days playing with my siblings, discovering new things, and joining in on whatever fun is happening nearby. Curiosity is one of my favorite attributes! But as much as I enjoy playtime, some of my happiest moments are the quiet ones—snuggling close to my people, following them around the house, or soaking up all the belly rubs I can get. Being near my family is where I feel most at home.I’ve had the chance to spend time with children of all ages and have done wonderfully with them. I’m also comfortable around the big dogs I’ve met and enjoy having furry friends around. I would happily share my home with another playful pup, but would be just as happy being a solo companion for a loving, active family.More than anything, I’m a loyal little girl who simply loves being part of the family. My heart is full of affection, and I’m ready to share it with the people who will call me their own. If you’re looking for a puppy who will fill your home with warmth, companionship, and lots of happy tail wags, I would be so happy to be your little sidekick.I can’t wait to find the family where I truly belong. Could it be you?!?!🐾💗--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hello! I'm Niko. I'm around 1 year old and have a lot of energy and love to give! My foster mom thinks I'm a cattle dog mix. I'm potty trained and kennel trained. I know sit and "shake" and am very food motivated to learn more! I have resource guarding issues with food (my foster mom is working on that). I would be best suited in a home without small children because of my guarding issue or is willing to continue working with me! I will be fully vetted prior to adoption.

Story
Meet Brooks (Brindle, 8 years old) & Dunn (White, 6 years old)🐾🐾 These two sweet old gentlemen have been with us for almost four months now, and they’ve completely stolen our hearts. Brooks (the brown one) and Dunn (the white one) came to us from down south, and while we don’t know much about their past, it’s very clear they are wonderful, gentle souls. They are very bonded and truly do best as a pair... Where one goes; the other isn’t far behind. Both boys are neutered and up to date on core vaccines. They are fantastic with children, get along great with other dogs, and are even pretty respectful of cats. They’re the kind of dogs that just fit in. Despite their age, they’ve adapted beautifully to changes and new routines. They’re happy to lounge, explore the yard, and enjoy the simple things in life. They stick close while off-leash, have hearty appetites, and yes... they’re delightfully chunky 😄. Brooks is the goofier of the two and is OBSESSED with Kongs and chew toys. Dunn is a bit more reserved and thoughtful, but just as loving in his own quiet way. If we didn’t already have a full house of dogs, we would keep these two in a heartbeat. Their need for a new home is absolutely no fault of their own — we simply don’t have the space to add two large dogs long-term. Brooks & Dunn are truly special, and they deserve a calm, loving home where they can spend their golden years together. They’re perfect just as they are. 💙 These pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered & up to date on vaccinations. The adoption fee is $500 for the bonded pair.
