She is 4yo and 2nd breed is Siberian Husky. My family’s living situation has changed. We have many teenage boys and new faces coming & going, and it is stressful for Elsie as she’s fearful of men at first. We have tried working with a trainer. This decision was not easy, but I hope it is the right choice for both of us. Elsie's ideal home has other dogs because she loves to play & snuggle. She can also adjust to living with cats over time, as she now has a cat friend. She is wary of men, but with time and proper introductions, she will warm up to them. She needs a confident & patient human and stability. She is very smart, food motivated, loves to be by your side. She is very alert to her surroundings and can act like a guard dog but it’s just in her temperament. She is fine in a kennel and needs to eat in a kennel or alone. She’s a beautiful, smart, loving girl and deserves the best. I will keep her until she finds home. I will donate the adoption fee to Carver Scott Humane Society.

Lester is NOT my given name...... it was a nickname given to me when I was saved at a gas station and attempted to "own" half the rescue crew by.... wait for it....by humping them!! Thus, Lester the **lester was born...But NOW my humping is done, I am neutered and happy and playful and much more respectful of my people! I am a gorgeous boy, and super friendly. I was found be a trucker at a truck stop- looking for love in all the wrong places :( BUT, he contacted the rescue who swooped down and saved me!! And I have been living the LIFE ever since :0 However, my life is NOT complete without my OWN family! No one really knows how i ended up at the truck stop, but you should know that I was loyal til the end..... waited and watched for my family at all hours of the day and night.... Rusty, Sweet neutered male, is a bit shy at first but warms up to people quickly. Rusty plays well with other dogs and is curious about cats. He lives in a home with five cats, 2 dogs and a 7 year old. He loves playing fetch with the ball and is working on bringing it back and dropping the ball. Rusty does well in his kennel at night, and when no one is home. He uses a dog door and is house trained. Rusty likes to go on walks however it is best to go early in the morning or late in the day when there is not a lot of traffic or people. He gets scared by the cars. And since we have no idea what kind f life he had before he was saved by the rescue, it is just something he needs practice and confidence building ;) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
