You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    DOB:  03/22/2017 Requires another dog in home: No Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes, sometimes selective with small dogs Okay with cats: No, has prey drive Okay with children under 12 years old: Has done fine with kids 4+ that are respectful  Weight: 49 pounds Requires a fenced yard:  No,  with limited mobility he needs a special helper harness for his back end. A yard would give him the freedom to roam.  Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area Hello, my name is Galleta, and I am an incredibly handsome and happy adult Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix. Sure, I have limited feeling and movement in my hind legs, but I love life just the same! I mean not only do I have a wonderful wheelchair that allows me to run around but I also get to do about 10-15 minutes of physical therapy, stretches, & exercises every single day to help ensure my muscles don’t atrophy. Some people may not like doing a PT regimen, but I don’t mind it at all because it’s more quality time with my people. I would love to find a family that would also bring me to a chiropractor, acupuncturist, and even swimming!! Oh my gosh not only is playing fetch in the water is SOOOO much fun but I am an excellent swimmer! I do not like a lot of commotion and I’m a bit shy around new people especially if they get too close, but I love to be with MY people and I’m getting braver every day! I have a high prey drive so cats are probably not a good fit for me; I’m good with kids as long as they don't try and climb on me; and I do well with most other dogs although I can be a bit selective with small dogs. But mostly, I am easy going! I am a super smart boy who’s not only potty, crate, and leash trained but I know a bunch of commands like “down”, “kennel/crate”, “outside”, “wait”, and a release word “ok”.  Also, I have learned how to go up and down stairs! I can climb 3-4 steps of any surface on my own, and a full flight of carpeted stairs on my own if supervised. Sometimes I need a little help to get started if the landing is slippery like vinyl or hardwood. Ideally my forever home doesn't have a lot of stairs inside and going outside.  I am a happy, playful, and very loving boy who loves giving hugs, kisses, & snuggles, playing fetch in a huge yard, going to the dog park, playing with my toys, going for leashed walks, getting lots of belly rubs, and eating treats especially fruits & veggies! YUUUMMM!!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I also love to practice Barn Hunt…I may not be able to compete, but I sure do have a great time practicing! Hee, hee!! Anyway, I am an incredibly sweet bundle of love who is simply looking for patience and unconditional love from a committed fur-ever family that not only will NEVER give up on me but who will help me continue my physical therapy routine and keep me safe. I promise that I am totally worth it, and I will love you more than you could EVER imagine! Love & snuggles, Galleta. *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. Story
My name is Josie. I am a six month old cattle dog mix. I have enjoyed playing with every dog that I have met so far and it sure takes a lot to tire me out! I love to run and play and chase balls. I also like to play in the water and the kiddie pool. I’m still learning a lot of my manners, but they say I’m very smart and a quick learner. My foster home has a fenced in yard so I know where my boundaries are. I need lots of room to run and play. I do like toys, especially the puzzle kinds that keep me busy! I know lots of commands like sit and shake. I do like go to my kennel most of the time, but when it’s time to get up in the morning, I am ready to go. I would be too best with someone who has experience with cattle dogs, because I have a lot of energy. I am happy and wild and love attention and I need a job and some direction to keep me out of trouble! If you think that I would be a good fit for you and your family, you should email my foster mom directly! Dogfoster08@yahoo.com

Story
Rusty, Sweet neutered male, is a bit shy at first but warms up to people quickly. Rusty plays well with other dogs and is curious about cats. He lives in a home with five cats, 2 dogs and a 7 year old. He loves playing fetch with the ball and is working on bringing it back and dropping the ball. Rusty does well in his kennel at night, and when no one is home. He uses a dog door and is house trained. Rusty likes to go on walks however it is best to go early in the morning or late in the day when there is not a lot of traffic or people. He gets scared by the cars. And since we have no idea what kind f life he had before he was saved by the rescue, it is just something he needs practice and confidence building ;) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🤍❄️ Meet Artic — A Gentle Soul with Adventure in His Heart ❄️🤍 (11 Months • ~50 lbs • Male • Full-Time Best Boy) If loyalty had a face (and four paws), it would look a lot like Artic. This handsome 11-month-old, 50-pound sweetheart is the kind of dog who doesn’t just walk with you — he walks for you, always checking in, always nearby, always quietly making sure his person is okay. Artic is wonderfully balanced: playful when it’s time to have fun, calm and affectionate when the day winds down. He’s the dog who will happily explore the outdoors with you and then curl up close afterward like, “We did good today.” 🐾 Why Everyone Falls for Artic: • Excellent with other dogs — friendly, easygoing, and social • Walks beautifully on or off leash, naturally staying close (no wandering, no drama) • Loves the water — splashing, wading, and cooling off like a true nature pup • Affectionate and gentle, with a calm presence that just feels good to be around • Playful without being overwhelming, snuggly without being needy At the ranch, Artic’s favorite walks are the ones that head toward the river — where the pace slows, the water sparkles, and he gets to just be a happy dog. He’s not loud about his love, but it runs deep, and once you’re his person, you’re his whole world. Like his brother, Artic has spent far too much of his puppyhood in rescue, waiting patiently while life passed by. Despite that, he’s remained trusting, sweet, and hopeful — and now it’s time for him to finally experience the joy of a family, a home, and a forever spot on the couch. Artic would thrive with an outdoorsy person or family who values companionship, quiet loyalty, and shared adventures followed by cozy evenings in. If you’re looking for a dog who will choose you every single day — without hesitation… 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Artic is ready to go home. 🐾❄️

Story
Ok, lets air it ALL out here!! Lester is NOT my given name...... it was a nickname given to me when I was saved at a gas station and attempted to "own" half the rescue crew by.... wait for it.... hump them!! Thus, Lester the **lester was born...But NOW my humping is done, I am neutered and happy and playful and much more respectful of my people! I am a gorgeous boy, and super friendly. I was found be a trucker at a truck stop- looking for love in all the wrong places :( BUT, he contacted the rescue who swooped down and saved me!! And I have been living the LIFE ever since :0 However, my life is NOT complete without my OWN family! No one really knows how i ended up at the truck stop, but you should know that I was loyal til the end..... waited and watched for my family at all hours of the day and night.... AND I will be that loyal to YOU and YOUR FAMILY! so adopt me so I don't have to watch and wait anymore ;D Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

So SUSHI??? What kind of name is that???? A pretty good one for me ;) Why?? Because I am kind of like a piece of sushi that you can make and eat in many different ways! Sushi is about using the BEST part of the fish, rolled with sticky (and sweet) rice and other kinds of "oceanworthy" things that make it unique and tasty!! THAT IS ME!! So, now that that is out of the way..... I am just a special part of the fish, NO fishy taste! Smart and sweet and playful and VERY UNIQUE! I was found 'lingering' by the rescue in the heat of August, scared and lost and alone..... no one could see my real value, until I was saved!!! The rescue chick, showed up, leash and snacks IN HAND and I said, UH YUP! SAVE ME!! Now I have been safe and loved since then but I want my own special family.... don't worry it doesn't hurt my rescue chick's feelings because there are SO MANY dogs out there like me, looking to be saved ;( So adopt me soon!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.      Hello, my name is Benji! I am a very handsome young adult male Mini Aussiedoodle who doesn’t like a lot of commotion, but I love to cuddle, and I prefer women. Truth is, I am highly sensitive and reactive to ‘stranger danger’! That’s right, I react to people approaching the front door, coming into the house, and even people approaching my kennel. I know…it’s not something I’m proud of but I’m working on it…really, I am!! In fact, foster mom is trying to help me associate new people (strangers) with positive outcomes and I am confident that I will be successful in time but for now it is still a work in progress. In the meantime, mom sometimes puts a muzzle on me and although it doesn’t bother me at all I prefer, of course, not to wear it so my new family will need to commit to working with me on training. Muzzle training may make me look scary, but it allows me to safely meet and work on my training so I can be happy!  After all, consistency, patience, loving encouragement, and LOTS of mental and physical stimulation are the keys to my success!!! I am good with older kids, cats, and other dogs; and my favorite activities include going on my daily leashed walks or car rides; hiking; exploring; eating treats like plain Greek yogurt or pumpkin; playing with small squeaky toys and other dogs; chewing on Benebones; and running zoomies in the yard so the yard at my new home will need to be fenced! Hee, hee!! I also hope to have a small, confident doggie companion who might help me overcome some of my anxiety about strangers!!! By the way, I almost forgot to mention that I am a prodigy…no, really! I know everything from how to do my business outside to a deluge of commands like “sit”, “down”, “come”, “kennel/crate”, “wait”, “leave it”, “outside”, and “go potty”!! Thankfully, I enjoy learning, especially when I have a strong, confident, respectful leader, and I really love pleasing my people!! Anyway, foster mom says that I am the “most affectionate” dog she’s ever met and as hard as I try, I simply cannot disagree with her! Hee, hee!! All I need in my life now is YOU…a patient, unconditionally loving forever family who will not only NEVER give up on me but will commit to helping me overcome my fears!! I promise that not only am I totally worth it, but I will enrich your life in ways you could never imagine!!! Love, Benji Some of our dogs are obtained from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. Others have come from various situations where they are lacking confidence in humans. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.   This dog has received grooming with us at Underdog Rescue, but was likely neglected of grooming attention until he came into our care.  It can sometimes take months to get their coat healthy as Doodle mixes require daily brushing.  Grooming appointments occur every 3 months and cost on average of $150 per appointment.  Adopters should be prepared for such expenses.  Underdog Rescue cannot guarantee the non-shedding or hypoallergenic qualities of this dog.    ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up.
