Story
-ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 35-40lbs -ESTIMATED AGE: 4 months as of 4/10/26 -KNOWN WITH DOGS: she LOVES other dogs. She wants to play with all of them and adapts to their size and personality. She hasn’t met a dog yet that she doesn’t like and doesn’t like her. I truly believe she would thrive if she lived with another dog. -KNOWN WITH CATS: she has yet to encounter a cat but can’t imagine she wouldn’t be great with them. -KNOWN WITH KIDS: she’s wonderful with kids. She loves to give kisses and is always gentle with them. She has yet to learn not to jump up so initially she might be jumpy but it’s only out of excitement. -KNOWN CUES: she knows sit, come, and is starting to master lay down. -KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: she lets you know she needs to go out by sitting by the front door. She may have some accidents if she is in the middle of an intense play session or you ignore her pleas to be let out. She does fine in the crate but complains for a few minutes when you initially leave the house but eventually settles down and is fine there after. -KNOWN LIKES: loves squeaky toys, peanut butter, chew toys, treat dispensing balls, puzzle toys, bully sticks, her woof pupsicle, watching the birds and squirrels outside, meeting new people and dogs, sniffing all the things outside on walks. -KNOWN DISLIKES: being told no. Story
-ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 35 lbs -ESTIMATED AGE: 3.5 months as of 4/30/26 -KNOWN WITH DOGS: Loves dogs- is learning some manners from her foster siblings- loves to play with them and chases after them. She is very sad when they leave for their walk with the dog walker and she is left behind. -KNOWN WITH CATS: not tested- we have no cats- but surprisingly she has shown little interest in the squirrels and foxes of which our neighborhood has many -KNOWN WITH KIDS: Loves my kids and their friends, she's a very social little girl- working on not nipping. -KNOWN CUES: Learned to sit the first day here! -KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Making great progress with both of these in just a short time- she still gets a little upset when first in the crate, but settles after a few minutes now. -KNOWN LIKES: Being outside, playing with toys, playing with her foster siblings, snuggles and pets, treats and mealtimes. -KNOWN DISLIKES: Being alone, being left out of foster sibling outings. Notes from the foster: Flora is very much a puppy- short attention span and wants to explore everything. She is very smart though and learns quickly. As she is still very much a baby she needs a lot of supervision and constant redirection to chew on only dog toys and not shoes! She really is the sweetest though! Story
-ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 55lbs -ESTIMATED AGE: 7 years -KNOWN WITH DOGS: Meet Chewy 💛 Chewy is a gentle, sweet-natured girl with a heart as soft as her name suggests. She shares a special bond with her best friend, Lola, and the two have clearly been each other’s comfort and joy. Watching Chewy with Lola, you can see just how loving and loyal she is. As she settles into new surroundings, Chewy is beginning to blossom into her own individual self. She’s slowly gaining confidence and independence, showing that while she treasures her close friendships, she’s also ready to explore the world on her own terms. Chewy’s calm and tender personality makes her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a kind, easygoing dog. While we’re still learning how she feels about other dogs beyond her bond with Lola, her gentle demeanor suggests she’ll do best with thoughtful introductions and a patient home. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving pup who’s ready to grow by your side and fill your home with quiet affection, Chewy might just be your perfect match. -KNOWN WITH CATS: unknown -KNOWN WITH KIDS: unknown -KNOWN CUES: unknown -KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: unknown -KNOWN LIKES: Unknown -KNOWN DISLIKES: Unknown -ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet Chewy—one half of a truly special bonded pair with her soul sister, Lola. These two are nothing short of perfect, sweet angel babies ready to fill a home with love and joy. Chewy is gentle, polite, and has the softest, kindest spirit. She leans on Lola for confidence, and together they bring out the very best in each other. Watching their bond is something truly special. Bonded pairs—especially larger ones like Lola and Chewy—are so often overlooked. But opening your home to them means double the love, double the loyalty, and the privilege of witnessing a connection that only comes around once in a lifetime.
