Story
Please contact Paul Slebzak (pauls@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.young girl looking for her forever family! TRINITY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Trinity       Best Guess for Breed:   Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix   Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of Sept. 2023         SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:   32 lbs   Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven’t seen Trinity with cats or kids, but she can be tested!   Check out video of Trinity here! https://youtu.be/4f65xnUJE2s   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home   All About Trinity:    Meet Trinity, the one-year-old Blue Heeler mix who's ready to become your faithful companion and partner in adventures! With her stunning coat featuring a mix of blue, white, and black, Trinity is not just a sight to behold but also a bundle of intelligence and affection. Trinity is a dynamic and spirited young dog who thrives on both physical activity and mental stimulation. Whether it's a brisk jog, a game of fetch, or a puzzle toy to challenge her intellect, she's always up for the task. Her sharp mind and eagerness to please make her a quick learner, so training and teaching her new tricks will be a joy! But Trinity's true charm lies in her loving nature. She's a sweet and affectionate companion, always ready to shower you with tail wags and cuddles. Whether you're seeking an energetic partner for outdoor adventures or a loving friend to curl up with at the end of the day, Trinity is the perfect mix of enthusiasm and devotion. If you're ready to provide her with a forever home filled with love and activity, come meet Trinity and make her a part of your family today.  What My Foster Says About Me:   Trinity is joyful and energetic. She loves to play with her toys, chewing and tossing them in the air, then jumping up and pouncing on them. Trinity is very social. She loves playing with other dogs. She would do well in a home with another dog that matches her energy level, or with a neighborhood dog friend or visits to the dog park for some doggie playtime. She obeys the down command for treats, and sometimes sits as well. She is affectionate with people, and gives people she knows doggie hugs and kisses. Trinity is learning about living with people in a home and learning about city life. She was initially afraid to go up and down the stairs in the house, but is now climbing up and down on her own. She’s still somewhat cautious and timid around new people when out on walks, as well as street traffic and vehicles. Urban surroundings appear to be new to her, but she is very adaptable and ready for the adventure!  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Story
Please contact Melissa A Aten (melissaa@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.sweet mama ready for her own family! ESME NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!     Name:  Esme        Best Guess for Breed: Heeler mix  Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of March 2023     SEX: Female   Approximate Weight:   41 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen Esme with kids or cats but she can be tested.    Currently Living at:   DC area foster home!   Special adoption considerations: Esme is heartworm positive. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative. Heartworm dogs can resume full active and normal lives, but need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment. Esme is scheduled to have treatment as soon as possible so the recovery process can begin.  We are happy to talk more in depth about heartworm disease and treatment during the screening process.    Esme is Looking For:  Her forever home! This pretty girl arrived into the shelter with her four-day-old puppies. She did a great job of raising them to be awesome family pets, and they went off to find their forever homes. Esme is still a young dog and eager to get her own humans for romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. More than that, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved and under her own roof for all her days - and promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship in return. What do you say? Is Esme the one you see by your side?   What My Foster Says About Me:  Esme loves all people and dogs. She is a huge dog park fan and loves long walks with lots of sniffing. She enjoys frozen treats especially in this hot weather! She’s incredibly smart so we’re working on basic obedience training and leash manners and she’s learning fast. She’s young and full of energy and would make a great pet for someone active who loves the outdoors. She’s very loving and eager to please too!   Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:    The adoption fee for this dog is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment.  If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. Story
My name is Midge and I am a Heeler mix puppy born May 16th to a Heeler momma who raised us with love.  The family who did not spay my momma has reached out to Critter Cavalry Rescue to help find homes for me and my 3 other siblings.  I am a smart little cutie pie but I honestly do not know who my dad was.  Momma was a Heeler and she is a very good natured dog.  I am very smart, will probably be a 45 pound adult dog and I love every living creature.   I just need a smart owner who is experienced and who will exercise me every day.  I have so much potential and definitely the pretty good looks.  If you are interested in adopting me please email Critter Cavalry Rescue for an adoption form:  ccrtennessee@gmail.com   I am ready to pack my puppy overnight bag and go home with YOU!!!!!!! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 30, 2023, 9:56 am
