Story
To learn more about Ringo, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org. A Day in the Life of Ringo: Play, Cuddles, Repeat! Meet Ringo, an 8-month-old cattle dog mix who’s ready to rock your world! This playful and curious pup is already stealing hearts with his stunning brindled coat, big personality, and endless zest for life. He loves everyone he meets and thrives on adventure. Whether he’s chasing balls, running free in the yard, or showing off his growing list of commands, Ringo’s enthusiasm is contagious. Ringo is very smart—the kind of clever that keeps you laughing and on your toes. He’s eager to please, loves treats (almost as much as his toys!), and is learning quickly what it means to be a well-mannered young gentleman. He’s house-trained, a good car companion, and enjoys relaxing by the door, watching the world go by or napping close to his favorite human. Like any bright, young pup, Ringo needs both physical exercise and mental challenges to keep his tail wagging. He’d do best with an active adopter who enjoys being outdoors and has a fully fenced yard where he can safely zoom to his heart’s content. He’s still growing out of his puppy antics—a bit jumpy, mouthy, and full of energy—but with patience, consistency, and continued training, Ringo will mature into an incredible lifelong companion. If you’re ready to team up with a fun, whip-smart pup who’ll keep you laughing, learning, and moving, come meet Ringo today—he’s ready to join your fab family!

To learn more about Lazy River please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Lazy River is an Australian cattle dog mix-the sweetest one out there ! He’s calm, cuddly and affectionate and so very loving once he gets to know you. Lazy River can be a little shy with strangers but his curiosity soon gets the better of him. Lazy River can be understandably a little anxious in a new environment, but quickly settles in, especially when given a calm place to unwind. Lazy River has a lot of puppy energy to burn off, so he will love all activities and play time. He would do well with a family who can help him learn his leash walking- he’s already well on his way in learning his basic doggie commands such as sit, stay and lay down. Come say hi to Lazy River and maybe you’ll find in him the perfect companion, happy to float along where life takes you both.

Story
Born November 11, 2023. Lincoln is a mix bred with heavy blue heeler in him like Bluey the cartoon! We live in McLean VA. Lincoln does not bark much and is a protector / herder. He can often be found just sitting in a herder mode just watching others. He loves to play and run when chased. Lincoln can be nervous around new people but warms up to them quickly. Although anxious at times, he is very attentive to others. Although he has lived in a home with 4 kids, he maybe better off in a home with less children as he often seemed over stimulated. When he has a chew toy, he will resource guard it. Responses well to training with treats. Lincoln is out of the puppy phase, house trained, and well mannered. He does have a tendency to jump to meet others. Needs a family that can give him the attention he deserves. He should have more walks and time to run outside. We want him to have a great home. All vaccines current. Reasons to re home are in rental house now and he needs more attention.

Story
Meet Ghost of Christmas Present—a bundle of joy wrapped in fur, ready to bring a little extra sparkle to your life this season! At just 8 weeks old, Ghost is showing off his big puppy brain—he’s already picking up on potty training (almost always goes outside!) and is proving to be a star student in the making. Ghost is inquisitive and playful, always curious about the world but also incredibly respectful—he lives happily with two older dogs and knows when it’s time to turn on the charm or turn down the zoomies. He’s discovering his crate at night and is making great strides, learning more each bedtime. When he isn’t bounding after toys or exploring, Ghost is the ultimate cuddle buddy—snuggly, sweet, and always up for a nap in your lap. He’s eager to please, easy to train, and he’ll melt your heart with those gentle puppy cuddles. Story
Cha-cha is a lovely little lady who loves to give kisses and say hi to everyone she meets! She settles incredibly well in her crate, is working on pottying outside only, rides well in the car, and follows you everywhere you go so has great leash manners. She got along with every dog she's met so far and a couple of cats too. She is treat- and attention-motivated so is a breeze to train and correct. Cha-cha and her four siblings survived parvo and are ready for forever homes where they can continue to celebrate every day! Adoption Day: December 6th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt.
