Dixie is a sweet energetic young lady. She is 100% house trained and crate trained. She is super loving with the humans in the house and has clearly received training that helps her contain her excitement. She sits on command and loves belly rubs. She plays well with the other dogs in the house but is pretty high energy and loves to zoom around with them in the fenced back yard. She has met the cats in her foster home and she did bark at them through the baby gate. We will continue to evaluate her intentions with the cats. Thank you for your interest in Dixie A! Anabelle came from a hoarding situation (as did Angel and Gillian) and it is pretty amazing that these dogs survived. Anabelle is a very quiet and gentle dog and very well-mannered. She is not in a foster home yet, but she is clean in her kennel and does not chew on anything. She is medium size at 40 pounds (the picture makes her look bigger). Raise your hand if you'd love to play with a roly poly puppy with a freckled nose and Buddha belly? I'll sweeten the deal! What if this puppy is also a klutzy lovebug who will trip over her own feet in order to leap into your lap for snuggles? Happy loves people, treats, toys, and showing off her gymnastics tumbles. We think she'd love a fenced yard to romp around in and an adopter who has been longing for a loving companion. This pup has SO MUCH love to give! Happy has stolen the heart of her foster mom, but will need some work socializing with other dogs. We think she may have been bullied or scared by other dogs in her first home, so she can be reactive with small animals and small kids that she wants to boss around. For that reason, Happy will not be placed in a home with small dogs or children. She will also need her new family to continue the normal puppy training. The little goof needs help with her leash manners. She'd rather show you how she can roll around in the grass with her feet in the air than walk on a leash!One more thing! Happy LOVES food. The resident dogs in her foster home have been helping her diversify her palate with some pretty yummy snacks. So far, Happy is a big fan of green beans, pumpkin puree, carrots, and bananas.
