Benji enjoys a good belly rub when he's relaxed.  Benji comes to us from a rural shelter in southwestern Virginia. where he had been picked up as a stray with another dog. This stunning gal is ready and waiting for you. As they say, good things come in small packages, and Willow is no exception. Willow is a snugglebug at heart, loving nothing more than to cuddle all day. She will make a great work-from-home buddy. She has responded well to her name and has loved salmon treats! Be sure to pick those up, and she will take to you quickly! On leash, Willow is a pleasure. She has been respectful, keeping a good pace, checking in often, and well-behaved. Her good behavior extends to car rides, too. Willow has been a doll in the car, sleeping most of the time, and being a comfortable passenger. In her time with us, Willow has been very quiet and has been getting used to a crate overnight. Overall, Willow is a lovebug who deserves all your love. If you need a new fantastic buddy, don’t overlook this amazing gal!

Lazy River can be understandably a little anxious in a new environment, but quickly settles in, especially when given a calm place to unwind. Lazy River has a lot of puppy energy to burn off, so he will love all activities and play time. He would do well with a family who can help him learn his leash walking- he’s already well on his way in learning his basic doggie commands such as sit, stay and lay down. Meet Lilly Allen, a super-sweet, gentle soul who’s still finding her footing but has so much love to give. This Australian Cattle Dog mix made her way to us in northern Virginia through no fault of her own, and despite such a big change, Lilly has remained a true sweetheart and an absolute cutie-patootie. Lilly is calm and polite in her kennel, easy to harness, and a joy to walk. She gently greets other friendly dogs she meets on walks and plays well with canine pals who share her calm approach. Outside, Lilly can be a little timid at times and feels most comfortable on quieter paths, where she can relax, enjoy a good sniff, and take in the world at her own pace. A smart girl who’s eager to please, Lilly already knows “sit,” is a quick learner, and is easily trainable — especially when treats and praise are involved. She takes treats gently and lives for pets and attention. At home, Lilly is a big baby who loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch with her people. With reassurance, patience, and lots of affection, Lilly Allen is ready to blossom into a loving and devoted companion.
