Story
In the famous words of Lady Gaga, she was born this way! Roo was born with deformities in her front legs. But that has never stopped her from being the friendly, playful, girl that she is. Roo is about 2 years old, 23lbs, spayed & up to date on her vaccines. We are actively working with getting Roo acquainted with prosthetics for her front legs to reduce the wear on her front joints. She will need an adopter that is extra dedicated to her special needs & continue working with her on her prosthetics.DATCP# 483538

Story
Sweet Dee is a very relaxed gal who takes everything in stride. She is great with cats, ok with dogs. She likes being around her dog foster brother, but she doesn't ask to play or play with him when asked. She is crate trained and just sleeps when crated. She is learning about toys. This little darling just loves to lean into you for snuggles. She has very gentle manners and walks well on a leash. While she is a heeler mix, she is a pretty chill gal, and at 2 years is past the puppy phase. You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!! Story
Introducing Sam, a 1.5 year old cattle dog who weighs about 27 pounds and is fully grown. Sam is the best boy, he loves people of all ages and loves to play with other dogs. Sam is a happy guy, he just wants to be right by people's side! Sam is potty trained at his foster home in Texas, but his new family should be prepared to do a little more training, as his routine in your home will be very different than what he is used to in a foster home in Texas.. Sam is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. Sam's adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday April 5th, and will be available for to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should you find that he is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. Story
Dixie-Dior is such a joy. She loves exploring the outdoors and loves people and even other pets. She’s a bundle of energy, very intelligent but also loooooves affection and snuggle time. She will take up all the room on your bed. Although the crate is not her favorite, so will go directly there for some treats. She is partially house trained and will be an amazing family dog for someone who has time to fully train her. We purchased Dixie from our local humane society after our 13 yr old Yorkie passed away and our 3 yr old Puggle began to show signs of depression. It’s been A LOT of work to get these two to appreciate each other. Unfortunately it’s not working out as planned. Being a biz owner and sole provider for my 3 children- it’s like 3 full times jobs and trying to train a puppy and a very stubborn 3 year old puggle to get along is like a 4th job. I adore Dixie and this is not her fault, but I have to choose what’s going to be best for both of our wellbeing

Story
Harvey is an energetic, intelligent Good Boy looking for a home that can give him the time and attention he needs. He would do best in a home with plenty of stimulation and opportunities for exercise. He loves pretty much all living creatures but lacks an understanding that not everyone or everything loves him back. He has lived with other dogs in the past, currently lives with a cat, and has plenty of experience with children. He has never instigated any conflict but will defend himself or others if he perceives any threats (luckily he gives plenty of warning, though). I took over Harvey's care full-time about six months ago, but I have known him since he was a puppy when my family adopted him about five years ago. He is house trained and very perceptive to vocal commands. He is familiar with plenty and is highly trainable if you need to add more or adapt. He learns and responds well to routines. He just needs more attention that I can give.

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.hoovershausealldogrescue.com EVERY DOG IS UP TO DATE ON VACCINES FOR THEIR AGE.                                           RABIES VACCINE IF OLD ENOUGH.  SPAYED OR NEUTERED (regardless of age) NO EXCEPTIONS HEARTWORM and FLEA/TICK PREVENTATIVE MICROCHIPPED CERTIFIED VETERINARIAN INSPECTION CERTIFICATE ***WE ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC*** ADOPTIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! Rozzlo is a 1 year old, Red Heeler and Shepherd mix  Rozzlo and his litter mates were surrendered to the shelter at just 1 month old. He spent 2.5 months in the shelter, until his foster mom came in one day to pick out a new foster pup before Christmas! He has been with his foster mom for quite some time now because he requires an extra special someone to spend his life with.  He has a typical goofy puppy personality. He’s about 55 pounds and is great for someone looking for a dog that’s about the average size of a heeler. He loves his toys and tug of war is his favorite game. He enjoys a good game of chuck, too. Due to his breed mixture, he is extremely smart and learns most things quickly. He is kennel trained, potty trained, basic obedience trained, he rides well in the car (in his kennel), he walks well on leash, and loves to cuddles. He is not allowed on all of the furniture, so he does have an understanding of house rules. He tolerates baths, but is amazing at getting his nails done, teeth brushing, and fur brushing! He is very funny, loves to rough house with his people, and loves to talk.  He will require some form of daily exercise and training to keep him balanced and fulfilled. However, he does not require an unmanageable amount.  Rozzlo is looking for a very special person or family. This person must understand dog behavior and be willing to take on the responsibility of a dog who will need special care & training to thrive. Due to being dropped at the shelter so young and his genetic make-up, Rozzlo has some sass. He needs to be the only pet and the only child, for the rest of his life. He loves his adult humans, but needs to have someone that won’t force him to try to “make friends” with everyone. He’s pretty shy and doesn’t really trust strangers. As long as his person advocates for him and his space, he does fine out and about.  As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. MY ADOPTION FEE is $125.00 and I am only available in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area We thank you for ADOPTING A HOOVERS HAUSE RESCUE DOG..... every dog adopted allows us to open our homes to save another! Story
Ok, everyone, I need your help!🙌 I'm 👑Charles III👑, a 2 year old, 50 lb guy who is just about perfect in every way but one - I'm just not a fan of strangers!! But read on, & I'll tell you why you shouldn't pass me by👀I'm completely house-trained, crate-trained but trusted loose while my people are away, I'm fantastic on walks, (an old back leg injury does not slow me down) & well behaved on car rides. I only chew on my dog toys (hard toys only please!), have no issues sharing toys, food & treats with humans & doggy friends. And I LOVE my dog friends!! I'm very good at reading what those friends are like & adjusting my play style to what works best for them. I always come running when called, am 100% devoted to my family, & will do anything to please them.So - about this stranger thing. I have a hard time trusting new people at first. I bark & growl & try to scare them away! I find one person right away & bond to them quickly, then need more time to adjust to others in the home. But if you're patient & have a few days, I'll warm up to you & lavish all my love on you! And I remember every person I've let into my circle - I saw a volunteer I met weeks ago, & treated her like a long lost bestie. Besides needing patience, I also NEED a confident doggy playmate to take the lead that will show me people are okay. When I see my dog friend getting affection, my craving for love will be overcome & soon I'll be right there asking for pets! Because of my herding tendencies, dog-savvy kids over 10 are best. And I've not yet met any cats yet.My foster mom says I'm a 🪄Goldilocks🪄 kind of guy, I need a home that's *just right*. But if you think that's you, get your application in so we can start our happily ever after!!DATCP# 483538

Gunner is a 10lb, 12wk old Heeler mix. He's very sweet & loves to cuddle! Since heelers are herding dogs he'll need plenty of exercise and like all pups, ongoing training. He LOVES outdoors so housebreaking should be a snap! He's dewormed & utd on age-appropriate vaccines. According to the weight calculator, he'll be about a 50lb adult. He's being fostered with dogs of all sizes as well as cats & is doing well. He'll do great with any child who has respectful dog manners.DATCP#483538

Story
Sydney is a shy, sweet, gentle, happy female Australian Shepherd who wants to please her humans. She has the cutest circular fluffy tail wag. Shes laid back, about two years old & weighs 40lbs.She loves to cuddle her humans & be by them. Shes good with kiddos, too! She’s also comfortable just laying anywhere in the house where the sun comes in & it’s cozy by blankets &/or pillows.Sydney is good with other dogs of all sizes & is definitely a submissive pup. She loves to be outside & follow other dogs around & run with them. She’s learning how to be a pup & play with toys. She’s learning how to walk on a leash though will need a patient family to help build her confidence with praise & encouragement. She is a quiet dog who rarely barks. She takes her time to get to know new people & build trust. She sleeps in a crate at night & when no one is home. Otherwise she has free reign in her foster home when a human is there. We’re working on potty training & commands. She’s eager to please & would make an excellent addition to a family. DATCP#483538
