We also learned she had previously been adopted from another shelter two counties over… so this isn’t her first time having her world turned upside down. 💔 Imagine the confusion and heartbreak when animal control showed up and took her from the only home she knew. Despite all of that, FiFi has the MOST loving, forgiving heart. Meet Mason! This incredibly sweet boy is looking for a new forever home.He is a 5 year old Australian Shepherd mix, about 70 pounds, and full of love (and energy)! His current caretakers are an elderly couple, in their 80's, who stepped in to help when a family member could no longer care for him due to medical issues. While they adore Mason, he's a bit too energetic for their lifestyle, and they want to make sure he finds a home that can keep up with him. Mason's ideal home would be an active family with older children or no children. He hasn't spent time with kids but has not shown any aggression toward them. Mason Is good with other dogs and would also be ok as the only dog in the home. Mason is up to date on vaccinations and is fully crate trained and house trained! He is a love bug, full of heart and is awaiting his next adventure!    Please consider helping this sweet adorable guy and apply today! Story
Simba is a Australian shepherd and blue heeler mix. I got him when he was just barely a month old from a friend of a friend. He is now a little over a year old. Preferably he goes to a home where he has some room to run because he tends to be an outside dog, but likes to chill inside and hang out with the whole family. Hes a very energetic and exuberant young dog who loves to play, but hes house trained and goes to the door when we wants to be let out. Hes been trained to sit, and stay, but hes not extremely good at it just yet. He also comes to my side almost every time when I call his name, whistle a specific way, or snap my fingers. Hes a quiet gentle dog when playing with other dogs and doesnt bark very often.

Story
We found Tinto at Dekalb County Animal Services. He was the cutest smartest boy and we fell in love with him and his personality. Very very quickly we realized how well mannered & patient he was. Tinto is overall just a good boy. He has never once been aggressive to other dogs or people while we've known him. He's very playful, affectionate, and social. He came fully kitted out: no accidents indoors, no stress in vehicles or public, calm in loud environments, and as smart as a whip. Just an amazing and sweet dog anyone would be lucky to have. We are looking for a dog-loving family who can give him the time and attention he deserves. We are in an apartment and we have busy schedules during the week and can't give him the proper training he deserves and the time and attention he needs. His 2 weaknesses that are bad for our situation are his separation anxiety and his reactivity to cats. He cries whenever left alone and chases cats in houses. He can do better with proper training.
