What a delight!  Jack is on the timid side, but wants nothing more than to glue himself to a special someone. So he is going to do best in an adult home only or older kids 14 years and up He barely makes a peep; has endless smiles when accompanying his foster mom working outdoors; and loves a bath, as long as a full hair drying session .  He snarls? NO! That’s just a grin.  His perfect home is one with a single or couple of adults that has experience with the breed or handling timid/unsocialized dogs.  He is chicken, dog, and cat safe.       Please note, we receive a large number of applications. Want to see a pretty smile? Check out Lady Mae (foster mom calls her Ladybug).  She is a sweet 1.5 yr old female Mini Aussie that is housebroken or will use pee pads. She is great in a crate or snuggling with foster mom.  She is shy at first but when she warms up, her love is endless.  She walks ok on leash and is dog/cat friendly. Lady is going to do best with other dogs in home and someone home a lot more.  She  loves to nap with her person.  She is beginning to play with toys more.  She will need a fenced yard! Huxlee is a well mannered 45 lbs mix breed 1 year old boy. He would do best in a home with children over 12. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
