Hi, I'm Jaxpot! I'm a 6 year old, neutered male, weighing around 100 pounds. I might be a golden retriever mix. Foster mom says I'm mixed with a gooey marshmallow because I'm so very sweet and so very fluffy. I am perfectly house trained and walk well on leash once I get my initial excitement out. At home, I have an easy-going, mellow personality. I am close to perfect, but do have a few specific needs in my new home which are mentioned below. My "likes" include: * Being with my person. I don’t have to be right next to you, but I do like to just be around you. * I lived with another dog and a cat in my previous home, and don’t mind sharing space with other animals. * Treats! I will sit and shake your hand for them. I am overweight so foster mom says I can’t have too many. * Leisurely strolls around the neighborhood to sniff and get some exercise. My "dislikes" include: * Bad weather. Rain and thunder scare me! * Intruding while I'm eating. I prefer to have space while eating my meals or enjoying a special treat. * Petting or handling by strangers. I need to get to know someone before I’m comfortable with petting (it doesn’t take me too long to relax especially if there are treats involved). I especially do not like the vet so I take a “chill pill” before visiting. * I need a quiet home where any children are teenagers or older. Adopt me and you will definitely have hit the "Jaxpot"! Although she is not registered as a purebred, the owners we got her from said she was a purebred Aussie.She has also always been the Alpha with all of our dogs.She is now 8 and well beyond having another litter, though she has not yet been spayed.Bristol has a tight bond with our small family. She loves to be petted. She does fine staying at home during the workday. She is smart, loyal, and loving!We need to rehome ASAP. She comes with a crate, food, bowls, collars, leashes, etc..
