Story
Here’s a clean, warm, and adoption-friendly summary you can use on a rehoming website: ⸻ Meet Grizby – A Loving, Loyal 5-Year-Old Australian Shepherd Grizby is a wonderful 5-year-old Australian Shepherd looking for a new home where he can get the attention and activity he deserves. He’s amazing with children of all ages — including very young kids — and has a gentle, playful personality. True to his breed, Grizby is energetic and loves to play fetch, chase balls, and catch frisbees. He’s fully house-trained, has never run away, and has always been a well-behaved, dependable companion. Grizby is neutered and completely up to date on all shots and vaccinations. We love Grizby deeply, but we aren’t able to give him the time, exercise, and engagement he needs to thrive. He will make an incredible addition to a family or individual who can match his energy and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and family-friendly dog, Grizby is ready to meet you.

Story
Sunny is a bright, sensitive soul that seems to love everyone she meets. She currently lives with other dogs, has lived with dog savvy cats and children. She will smile at you when she meets you or if she is somewhat embarrassed. While she would love to adventure with you most anywhere (long hikes, rides in the car, a good run, traveling, etc.)she is also game to curl up next to you at the end of the day for hugs and gentle kisses. Sunny tends towards submissive and very respectful to her canine friends. She would love to learn as much as you can teach her and is a quick study. And while she will happily jump up next to you on a couch or bed, she will not (to date) jump even an 18` high baby gate. She is crate trained, but safe to leave out. House trained. Has great recall to her name, as long as she hasn`t been cooped up too long. Her hearing then becomes selective until she burns some energy. She has NOT shown signs of herding. She will hunt and track squirrels through the tree tops, and if anything runs, she`ll be after it. She does know leave it, sit, come, down, off and a few other commandsYou can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc Ask to meet me today!! Story
Kenna and Cooper Bear are being fostered in St Peters MO (Bonded Pair) Kenna and Cooper Bear are a bonded pair and have been together since they were puppies. They are NOT littermates. We believe the best placement for them would be a home where they could be adopted together. They are great with other dogs, cats and kids!  The trifecta of a GOOD dog! :)  Please meet Kenna. She is a 6-year-old red merle female Australian Shepherd. She currently weighs about 74 lbs. She is a big girl who loves to go for walks and play fetch (but only with tennis balls), loves to be close to her person; a constant companion following you from room to room.  She will run between your knees and walk with you wherever you go.  Prior to rescue Kenna lived in a loving home with her companion dog Cooper.  They were surrendered to rescue due to the family not having enough time to properly care for two large dogs and a growing family. Kenna knows sit, stay, down, shake. She is always ready for a walk (will sit at door waiting for you to open) or a car ride, she rides like a dream. She loves to be petted and brushed.   She is being fostered with two other female dogs and does well with them.  She is also being fostered with her brother Cooper, a 6 year old black tri male. Kenna is house trained and crate trained.  She has done very well when left uncrated.  In her foster home, she does have access to a dog door and a fenced yard.  Kenna lived with a toddler and was a gentle giant with her. Kenna has done well with visitors in the house. Kenna is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations. She is also receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms. If you have what Kenna needs, please visit our website to find out information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family. Story
Bentley is fostered in Pleasonton, KS. Meet Bentley.  Bentley was surrendered to us when his owner had some medical issues and was unable to continue caring for him.  Bentley came in a little under-socialized and slightly overweight. Bentley is 3 year old male Australian Shepherd mix who is working towards his ideal weight of approximately 50 lbs.   Bentley needs a hero.  Bentley previously spent great deal of time in his crate.  For this reason, he did not receive proper socialization. Socialization is something his foster home has diligently been working on with him.  She has been de-sensitizing him to many things, including leash walking, grooming, other dogs and other people.  Bentley previously experienced some fears in some area, but he really has put in a lot of work and he is making wonderful progress in all areas.   Bentley is a low-key guy who is looking for an adopter who enjoys the same type of lifestyle. He prefers a home where there are less comings and goings.  We also recommend a physically fenced yard and a home that is both patient and has no children under age 12.  Bentley is a talker. The more you talk to him, the more he expresses his feelings.  Bentley is what we term a "work in progress", but he is the type of dog that will quickly become your best friend once trust is gained between you.  Are you looking for your new best friend? Bentley is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.  Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.  For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org. NOTE:  All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in.  Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application.  We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family.  MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##2407689##

Story
Olive is fostered in Beloit, WI. Olive (Ollie for short) is a 5 year old Mini Aussie/Brittany Spaniel mix with springs on her paws, a puppy's energy, and a quick mind. Ollie has such cute and loving ways with the cutest little sploot in the world!   Ollie would love nothing more than to spend her days loving and playing with her humans. She's a great fetcher inside or outside, and will bring her toy to you on demand. Ollie is a work in process. Her previous life did not teach her boundaries or how to be gentle in her play.  Ollie is currently learning impulse control and will need an adopter to this training, where she has clear and consistent boundaries. She will press you, and then be embarrassed when she brakes the rules, but consistency and patience will win out and give you a wonderful addition to your family.  Ollie is a SWEET girl and VERY eager to please. Ollie is crate trained, house trained and great in a car.  Ollie would do best with a fully enclosed yard and another playful companion to keep her company, to rough house with, and a ball to chase and fetch for you. Ollie would do best in a home with children over 10 years of age.  She was raised with a cat and does not show any wish to chase them or bother them at all. Squirrels, on the other hand, are a different subject altogether! Ollie is a GREAT little girl looking for an adopter who wants to be active with her, teach her new things, and then cuddle on the couch after a rigorous game of fetch.  Are you looking for a sweet girl like her? Olive is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations and receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms. She does require a committed adopter who is willing to devote 1 - 2 hours of mental and physical stimulation per day.  We do require proof of purchase of heartworm prevention for any current or prior pets. MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##2510764##
