Story
Merle is a family dog! He wants to be wherever you are. He is good with other dogs and loves kids. He enjoys going for long walks and walks great on a leash he loves to have his ball thrown. Merle needs a lot of attention and exercise, and with our growing family we have found that we are unable to keep up with his needs and why we are considering rehoming him. A board Aussie is a destructive Aussie and we have had a lot of our personal items destroyed due to our inability to give Merle what he needs. We love to see him with a family or individual(s) who love to be outdoors and hike, and have the capability of taking him along. He is very smart and has a high drive to learn and please. He is also a big cuddle bug! He is housetrained, and he is kennel trained.

Story
Miss Pebbles is an energetic 4 year old puppy at heart! She is a beautiful tri-color Australian sheppard. She's a sweet, excited fur baby. She loves to play fetch with with all her toys, but especially with the Chuckit balls! She's smart and understands many commands and terms. My health is not good and I'm working many hours. It's not fair to Pebbles. She needs/ deserves more time with her humans. She pulls on leash and needs more training with this. We got a harness and she is better with it.

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- West Linn, OR Rooster (Roo) is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 70 lbs, but the vet said he needs to get down to 60 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Rooster is hostile around strangers! He is good with cats and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around older children. No younger children, due to his reactivity! He jumped up and bit the owner’s son’s young friend on the face as he was walking into their house. This was unprovoked, Rooster just ran out the door and bit him. The owner is surrendering him because of this bite and they have also had a lot of unforeseen circumstances come up. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Rooster, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Rooster. Owner’s Contact Information: Bayley at bayleygelt@gmail.com.

Best family dog! I am so sweet! Why do I not have a home? Likes dogs, humans, cats, walks and car rides! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com I would like a family looking for a Austrialian Shepherd mix. My owner had a medical issue and could no longer care for me. Rusty Bubbles is a ma le 5 mos old and 25 lb Austrialian Shepherd mix. I love people, toys, car rides, dogs etc. I am a semi energetic, very affectionate lad that likes playing with toys and hang out with my people. I am an indoor dog that will enjoy daily walks and some dog training. Courtesay post for Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
Picture this: a rainy stormy Texas day. Cars swerving and honking in front of you. You get closer to the commotion and see 3 trembling rain-soaked dogs sticking together and obviously scared of all the chaos. Cars stop and block traffic and two compassionate souls get out in the storm to coax each terrified pup into their car. Saving them. That is the beginning of Penny's story and how she came to us at Three Little Pitties, but it's just the beginning of the happy ending that we know is coming for her. Penny is estimated to be around 2-years old and weighs 34bs. Penny is a stunner with her crystal blue eyes! One look at her and prepare to be mesmerized! Penny is the ultimate adventure partner! She is an active and intelligent girl and a total goofball! Penny's foster mom says she is a wiggly girl and always happy! You can just see her exuberance for life on her smiley face! Penny loves other pups and would love to have a doggy sibling to run around and wrestle with! Get yourself a hefty stash of Nerf Chuck it balls cause Penny loves them! She is learning to play fetch is, but the trick is to make sure you have two balls- she'll drop the one she just corralled when you throw the second one! Her foster mom says she also loves to play hide and seek! Her secret spot is under the bed but, shhhh we didn't tell you that! Agility training might be up Penny's alley! It would be great fun for her and a good use of the energy she has. If you have a yard Penny is sure to be outside basking in the sun. Spread out a blanket on a clear night and Penny will lay right by your side star gazing! She is also always up for a good ole cuddle session! Penny is a quick learner and is getting better at her leash skills! She is sure her new family will help her polish those skills up in no time! Penny is great in a crate as well! Penny is also cat friendly- a dog savvy cat or avoidant cat would be a good roommate for Penny. Penny has not been around a ton of kids but a family with an older child or children would be great for her! If you think this adventurous girl with a goofy side is the perfect match for you don't walk but run to apply! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8-week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6-year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 13,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. That is the beginning of Dolly's story and how she came to us at Three Little Pitties, but it's just the beginning of the happy ending that we know is coming for her. Dolly is estimated to be around 3-years old and weighs just under 40lbs. Dolly is a fluffy mahogany sweetheart- we think she is an Aussie mix but with rescue it's always a mystery. Dolly is all about people. She absolutely loves humans and will make a fantastic companion to someone who is all about Dolly. She is super affectionate and loves a good snuggle session. Dolly will be your shadow following you around, looking up at you with her loving curious eyes. Dolly loves both men and women, but her foster mom says she seems to really glue herself to the ladies. As soon as her foster mom sits down Dolly ditches her foster dad and is crawling on her lap nuzzling her neck. If there was ever a textbook example of a Velcro Dog Dolly would be it! Dolly is dog friendly and of moderate to low energy. She currently resides with the siblings she was found with and two foster siblings. She especially loves to play with her foster's male husky/pit mix. He is trying to teach her fetch! She has the chasing the ball part down but is working on the bringing it back! She'd love to work on that with you! She is also a big fan of stuffed toys. Nothing better than a good stuffed toy destruction session and then rolling around in the fluff for Dolly! We believe Dolly could also live successfully with an avoidant or dog savvy cat. She sniffed and walked away when she met our resident cat, Tom. Dolly has not had much experience around kids but given her sweet nature we think she would do well with kids who are 10+ and can respect her need to warm up first. Dolly is working on her leash skills with her foster family and would love an adopter who will continue to work with her on these! She would love to go wherever you go! Perhaps some beach walks are in Dolly's future! Dolly's foster mom says she is awesome at bath time and even doesn't mind having her nails trimmed! If you are looking for a pup who will show you gratitude each and every day, who will happily follow you wherever you may go then Dolly is your girl!
