Beau is housebroken but not crate-trained. He has good recall, sit, lie down, stay, leave it, out of the kitchen, move, outside. **Now fostered in Bothell, WA** At 5.5-months old and about 25lbs., this velvet-soft cutie is believed to be an Aussie/Pittie mix (though with rescue, it’s always a bit of a guess). With his two tan splotches, dreamy blue eyes, and the sweetest face, Beethoven Clu is impossible not to fall in love with. Beethoven Clu was born deaf, but that hasn’t slowed him down one bit! He’s a happy, wiggly pup who takes cues from the other dogs in his foster home and is learning the world beautifully through them. He’ll need a home with another friendly dog and adopters who either have experience with deaf dogs or are eager to learn how to communicate and support him — because this boy is so worth it. His foster family reports he's doing amazing and learning hand signals. He’s currently thriving in a loving foster home with two young kids, two foster dog siblings, and his brother (who’s also available for adoption!). He’s doing awesome with his potty and crate training, loves toys, adores having his ears rubbed, and recently tagged along to watch his foster brothers play soccer — he was a total hit on the sidelines! He also joins his foster dad and mom at work and is a great help- although he may be caught sleeping on the job a bit. Beethoven was a hit at a recent busy adoption event- he was sweet and loving to all including little kids who wanted a chance to hold and pet him. He's very well behaved in public. Even though he is deaf he will occasionally let out a deep bark- his foster mom says the first time he did it everyone was shocked. He knows that a bark will let others know he needs out. One benefit of a deaf dog is when the house is full of chaos- kids running around, tv blaring, doorbell ringing from visitors or the delivery person dropping off packages- he has no idea and will remain sound asleep or playing with his toys. **Now fostered in Bothell, WA** Flynn is an almost 5.5-month-old Australian Shepherd/Pittie mix (we think! It's always a guess with rescue) with velvet-soft white fur and tan splotches that make him look as sweet as he truly is. At about 25 pounds, this little guy has the perfect balance of playful energy and cuddle-bug charm. Flynn is currently fostered with his brother (also available for adoption!), two other dogs, and two kids—and he’s doing wonderfully with them all. He loves to romp around with his doggy friends and play with the kids, then happily curl up for a snuggle session afterward. Flynn hasn't shown any fear when experiencing new things like Halloween costumes and would make a great dog to take everywhere. Flynn loves to pose for the camera and even enjoys going to work with his foster dad and mom. He's a great sounding board but will sleep on the job. He’s just about 100% potty trained and is crate trained. Flynn will need thrive in a family committed to continuing his training and socialization. Another dog in home (ideally a few years older) to help show him proper doggy manners and learn from would be a great fit. Willow is an incredibly sweet, intelligent, and devoted dog. She attached to us quickly, strongly desires to please us, and loves to be near her humans. She has been a special part of our family for the last five years. She will do well in a household that welcomes a lot of attention from her. She responds to verbal cues well and learns quickly. She understands basic commands and will spin on her hind legs for a treat. Willow struggles with some reactivity towards some other dogs (but not all dogs) and needs distance from them on walks. However, she is highly trainable so we are certain she will respond well to training! Willow likes cats and most dogs. She is good with older children but can be startled by small children. Willow loves to go on walks and to the beach. She enjoys playing with balls and ropes. She has a playful personality and particularly enjoys playing with a human!

I have had Charlie for his entire life. He is an 11 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd who is loving, energetic, and a great companion. He has been a great dog, but since adding children to our family, we are not able to meet his needs. Charlie’s anxiety is high around the children and he needs a home with more space and available time to spend with him. He is crate trained, very good on hikes, he loves to swim and play fetch. He is protective around his home and will bark at strangers and other dogs. Once you get to know him he is sweet and loves to cuddle. A home with no children, limited visitors, and space for exercise would be ideal for Charlie.
