Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose Nothin', don't mean nothin' hon' if it ain't free, no no And, feelin' good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues You know, feelin' good was good enough for me Good enough for me and I'm Bobbi Lou. That's the jam folks except freedom in the streets means an empty tummy and that wasn't my jam. MMMM Jam. I like Jam or I bet I would. I like food and it sounds yummy in my tummy. Foster mom keeps the kibble bowl full so I never have hungry belly anymore. I am a Basset/Beagle mix and 7 years old. I'm 28 pounds and probably won't get bigger give or take a few pounds now that I get food everyday. I've been learning so much in my foster home. I do my potty business outside 99% of the time. I seem to like smaller dogs and am unsure about the bigger dogs that live here. Cats also live here and I'm a little growlie when they get in my space but if they leave me alone I'll do the same. They taught me how to go into my crate and that's where I sleep. I would much prefer to stay with my human and I don't take up a bunch of space. I stay in the lap area so you can get maximum pets. Come get me please so I can measure the lap space and make sure I fit. (don't worry I'll fit) Local adoption fee $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Guessing Easter Beagles in there also? We don't know much about these sweeties who we have named Jelly Bean and Skittles as they have lived outside their approximate 2 years of life! But don't be sad be GLAD because they are rescued!!! These ladies do not need to be adopted together and their fees are $250 each. They will require fenced in yards and patient loving families who help them acclimate to being loving indoor pets! They are currently in Columbus and needing foster or forever homes!!! Please apply on our website and if already approved email us and please tell us in your email if you are already approved or we will direct you to apply first! This sweet girl came to us from a kill shelter with 3 yo Skittles who is thought to be her mother. Jelly loves to play and run so will need a secure fenced yard. She is a little more reserved at the moment but hopefully will blossom in her foster home. She is a snuggler but is NOT a fan of car rides. That may change in time but her only 2 car rides in rescue have come with a lot of panting, drooling, and car sickness. But she is young! The girls at the vet staff says she keeps a clean kennel so house training should be easy but she was an outside. She is the true meaning of rescue! Story
We adopted Eddie as a puppy in September of 2023. He is a fun, loving, and active dog (for a Bassett). He will be 2 this August and we are looking for someone to adopt him that we will be able to give him more of their time. Unfortunately, Eddie gets bored when he is home without us and will get into things he shouldn’t, so he must be kenneled when we are not home. My husband and I have super busy schedules now and we hate that he doesn’t have the proper time and engagement that he should. He loves to be outside, he does fairly well on hikes, and he loves to play with other dogs. We have a baby and he does great with our 6 month old. Eddie is such a good and loving dog who deserves a family and a home that will provide him with the attention he needs. He can be stubborn but he is a great cuddler.
