Milo was rescued as a puppy when a shed collapsed on his mom and siblings.  All were saved and adopted. Milo is a very energetic guy (normal for his age and breed mix) who loves to play frisbee. Milo will need to go to a very active family, with older kids.  He will need someone with structure and rules since he is still young and learning. He is UTD on his shots and neutered. Meet the cutest gal on the block with the best smile, Lucinda! Lu is a 4.5 year old hound, boxer mix who loves her people, including kids, and is full of exuberance. She is also only a medium girl at 45 lbs— the perfect size in our eyes! She came into rescue at 6 months old & was adopted, but was returned 3 years later because the adopter was having a baby. Sweet Lucinda did nothing wrong, & she’s looking for a forever, loving family this time around!  Lucinda loves playing with energetic dog friends after slow meets & is working on manners (she can get a tad bit excited for some hehe)! She would love an active home where she can go on adventures with her people— a favorite of hers is hiking! A family that gives her lots of belly rubs? She says, “yes please!” This wiggly girl is healthy & ready to find her forever home! She is house trained, crate trained, & knows basic commands! PUPPY CUTENESS!! Meet CICI and DIDI, the darling daughters of tiny beagle BIBI!! These two adorable girls came to the rescue with their mama back in June, now they're ready to find homes of their very own. They are currently 10-12 weeks old and around 8 lbs. each. These little girls have sunny, bubbly personalities, they are equal parts playful and cuddly. They are confident, well balanced pups. Mama Bibi is a 20 lb. beagle. These two redheads are probably beagle mixes, although we have no idea what they may be mixed with. Maybe some dachshund? Whatever the mix, they are gorgeous. Cici and Didi are working on their housebreaking and crate training in their foster home. They are each best suited to homes where they will have a doggy playmate and a physically-fenced yard. Our best guess is that these girls will be somewhere around mama's size when fully grown, under 25 lbs. If you'd like to meet Cici or Didi, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange private meets for these two girls. Cici and Didi will go to furever homes on an extended trial basis, their adoptions will be finalized when the vetting covered by their adoption fee is complete. They must go to homes in the greater Cincinnati area to accommodate follow-up vet appointments. Please note that mama Bibi has already found a home. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
