WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sarah - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Sarah from the Hebrew origins means 'Princess'. What a dream come true, being YOUR princess!! I could totally get on board being treated like a princess, you know, like being spoiled rotten with lots of belly rubs and ear and under the chin scratches and whoa if you threw in some treats that'd just be the bomb...a life of a princess!! I am a total sweetheart of around 8 years, that was pulled from a local shelter where I was on 'the list'. I was shutting down being in a cold loud kennel but since being in my foster home, I've opened up and am starting to blossom. I do wonderfully with the other pups here, even occasionally trying to play. I'm also enjoying playing with stuffie toys. I even like that resident weird smelling thing y'all call a cat, I mostly just let her be (cuz ya know, she smells weird!). I also do great with the little kiddos, being oh so gentle with them. Most of the time I'm quite content to take a snooze while you're doing your thing. I am house broken and getting good at using the doggie door to come inside and am just starting to realize I can use it to go out too! I'm really getting to love this doggie door thing! I like going for our walks around the property but I'm more of a meanderer then a cruiser. I'm at that stage in my life where I like to stop and smell the flowers instead of bulldozing right over them! Coming in at around 43lbs I'm not too small that I get under your feet but I'm not too big that I take up the whole... everything. I would make a great companion type pup for someone retired or that works from home. I would even make a great first time dog parent pup. I will be good in the kennel but I definitely don't care to use one and I'm very good about not getting into things I shouldn't. Are you looking for that calm mellow gal that will be happy just to be in the same room? Are you looking for that someone to share in your daily life going on's from the mundane to the exciting? That constant, your princess, in your life that will never turn down belly rubs or treats? Oh wait, yep...that'd be ME!!!

Story
Meet Wally! This 3 year old Beagle mix would love nothing more than to be your best friend and future snuggle buddy. At 35 lbs, Wally is ready to go on those summer walks to sniff around the grass and help him to lose a few pounds. After that, his greatest desire would be to curl up on a pillow and receive an endless amount of scratches and cuddles. Wally is crate-trained and doing well with potty training. He is getting the hang of regularly going outside and will use potty pads if needed. Wally prefers short stints in his crate but is not destructive if left out when home alone, although he certainly prefers the companionship of his people. Wally is fostered with other dogs his size and smaller and gets along with them all very well, simply happy to coexist with them. Wally was shy and unsure upon first entering his foster home, but after a few days and some patience he became the most snuggly, happy guy. He loves to wag his curly tail and ask for belly rubs as soon as he sees his people. If you are looking for an amazing best buddy to call your own, apply for Wally today! Wally is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Story
Meet Waffles! Waffles is a 4-year-old 20lb Beagle. Her superpower is her friendliness. She loves people and would be delighted if you would come meet her and give her some pets. Her tail is always wagging. She has a healthy hound appetite for treats so could be motivated by those. Waffles absolutely loves walks. A perfect day for her would include at least one but preferably two of those. She can walk long distances but a stroll around the block would do just fine as well. She is working on her leash manners. As a typical hound, she tends to follow her nose. Keeping her on a leash or in harness is a must as a squirrel could distract her quite a bit. When it comes to housetraining, Waffles is doing very well. She has had a few accidents in her foster home, but a consistent schedule will lead her to success. Her crate training has been very successful. She settles very quickly and snoozes the whole time her foster family is gone. She may give a little hello howl when you return due to excitement to see you. Waffles enjoys being around kids but is still learning to keep all four paws on the floor. She gets along great with other dogs and would do well in a home with another one to play with. All toys are her favorite. If you're looking for a playful, lovable goofball, then come meet Waffles. Waffles is currently being fostered in Cincinnati, OH. Her adoption fee is $400.00. Story
Introducing Gambit - the name's not just a coincidence; it's a testament to my ability to shape my destiny. Just like my Marvel/X-Men namesake, I've overcome my past and now look forward to a brilliantly bright future. My journey started in a rather somber place - a lonely field next to a gas station. Thankfully, kind souls would drop by, leaving me food and their hopes for a better life. One day, a persistent and resourceful lady decided to play her "pawn" and orchestrated my escape from that grim existence. Since then, I've been living with her and her doggy (and human) family. But now, I'm eagerly searching for my own forever family. Let's talk quirks. I'm a cheerful guy, but I've got some personal space boundaries. I'm protective of my face, so a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids is my ideal match. I'm also a bit of a goofball and adore the company of other dogs. Now, I might not instantly become your best buddy; I take time to trust and get comfortable in my surroundings. But trust me, the patience will be worth it. I'm brimming with love and loyalty, just waiting for the right family to share it with. Here's the good news - I'm house and crate trained, proving that, yes, young dogs can indeed learn new tricks. Oh, and there's more - I'm pretty chill around cats, though a gentle introduction is wise. And I've been curious and respectful around a human baby, so that's a plus. One thing to note, though, is that I've had some reservations around men. Despite two years together, I haven't quite warmed up to my human's fianc and have snapped at him a few times. So, it might be best if I find a home without men. During a short stay with Kathy, I was a little shy but kept to myself. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a dash of X-Men flair and you're ready to give me the chance I deserve, let's make it happen. I can't wait to meet you and start this exciting new chapter together! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
