Meet Maisie! She is a roughly 5 month old female mix breed. We do think she will be a medium sized dog, most likely around 40-50lbs full grown. What she is a mix of? That is a bit of a mystery! A couple of her siblings were wire haired and reminded us of Jack Russells, so maybe some Jack Russell? A bit of beagle? It is honestly anyone’s guess! What is not a guess is just how loving and fun this girl is! She is quite energetic with a soft, more submissive side. She is highly toy driven and loves to carry a toy around her in mouth; she is also starting to show interest in playing fetch! When not playing, she can be found either begging you for a belly rub, or attacking you with kisses, there’s really no in-between with this girl, she loves to get love, and also return it. She has a wiggle butt to match her energy and it rarely stops moving whenever a human is close enough to activate that wiggle! She is truly a happy-go-lucky girl, just here to have fun and live the good life! She is fantastic with kids, dogs, and cats! She is crate and house trained, and working on her basic commands. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust.
