Smokey is a loving companion that likes to be a lap dog often. He loves being outside but space is limited to the apartment complex doggy park. As I work full time he is in a crate 2/3 of the day which isn’t fair to him. He is house trained and crate trained. He may experience separation anxiety when adjusting to a new environment. He does go through bouts when he’s not hungry. That’s normal for him. He has a lot of love to give!!

He does get a bit anxious but who doesn’t these days. So having him in a crate when left alone is best. She says I looked about 87 when I first came to foster care   A little about me: I'm great with the resident dogs, I'm not very interested in the cat, I keep my crate clean, I'm working on potty training (and I'm doing quite good, if I do say so myself). I am six years old and weigh about 25 lbs. I love my toys and I'm working hard to learn what foster mom does not consider a toy, like her shoe. Meet the cutest gal on the block with the best smile, Lucinda! Lu is a 4.5 year old hound, boxer mix who loves her people, including kids, and is full of exuberance. She is also only a medium girl at 45 lbs— the perfect size in our eyes! She came into rescue at 6 months old & was adopted, but was returned 3 years later because the adopter was having a baby. Sweet Lucinda did nothing wrong, & she’s looking for a forever, loving family this time around!  Lucinda loves playing with energetic dog friends after slow meets & is working on manners (she can get a tad bit excited for some hehe)! She would love an active home where she can go on adventures with her people— a favorite of hers is hiking! A family that gives her lots of belly rubs? She says, “yes please!” This wiggly girl is healthy & ready to find her forever home! She is house trained, crate trained, & knows basic commands! Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption only $200, in TX
