Story
Meet Bagel the Beagle! This girl is six years old and is quite the chunk, weighing in around 40 lbs. She is ready to work on her summer body by going for walks around the neighborhood and exploring her new home! Bagel is a sweet and friendly girl, happy to waddle up to any and all humans to receive some love. She is fostered with other small dogs and does well with them, playing on occasion but mostly just hanging out. She is true to her breed and absolutely loves to explore using her nose. Once she has sniffed everything she possibly can, she loves to chew on a bone or flop over on her side to take a nap. Bagel does not prefer to be in a crate but does well left out when her foster mom is not home. She doesn't get into anything and either snoozes on the couch or watches out the window. For a beagle, Bagel is shockingly quiet, so far only barking on occasion! She is working on potty training, going regularly outside but also utilizing puppy pads indoors. She absolutely loves people and wants to be by your side at all times! She will make sure to find her way to you if you happen to be in another room. She does well on a leash and would love to go on short walks to help her shed some extra pounds. Bagel is a wonderful dog that cannot wait to find a home to settle into. If you are looking for your new best friend, apply for Bagel today! Bagel is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $300.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Danica is an almost 8-year-old, 30 lb beagle mix with big brown eyes who just loves kisses, scratches and cuddles and being close to her people. Her superpowers include being a fast and eager learner, loving all people everywhere, and getting along great with other dogs and her sister cat. She loves to just explore the outdoors and sniff around still. She’s good on a leash. In terms of house training, she’s does good but sometimes can’t make it through the night. With more regularly scheduled potty breaks I think this can be fixed. She loves to love on you and her people and to be rewarded for a good job! Some of her favorite things are her kongs (stuffed with peanut butter). If you're looking for a loving companion who will greet you and other of your four legged companions with full body kisses every time you walk in the door and loves spooning and snuggling at night and at naptime, she might be your perfect match. Danica is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $275.00. Story
Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption only $200, in TX

Story
Stunning ARNOLD is a sweet timid boy looking for a home. Our best guess on breed is a beagle/brittany mix. He's around 2 years old and fully grown at 26 pounds. Arnold has been with us about a month, decompressing in his foster home. It's taken him a bit of time to figure out that he's safe and people are kind. He's come a long way and is ready to find his furever home. If you're looking for a dog who will immediately jump in your lap and kiss you all over the moment you meet, Arnold isn't the dog for you. But if you are patient and willing to spend a day or two earning his trust, he will love you with all of his heart. Arnold needs a calm home with a friendly, confident dog who will help him navigate his new life. He's housebroken, crate trained and fine with kitties. He requires a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Arnold, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Arnold at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
JASON is a gorgeous 7 month old beagle puppy looking for a home. He's everything a puppy should be: adorable, sweet, playful, friendly and silly. He loves people and playtime. Jason is currently 21 pounds and close to fully grown, he should remain under 25 pounds. He is a complete goofball specializing in puppy shenanigans. He's best suited to a home with another playful dog larger than his little self. Jason was rescued from a miserable life living outdoors at the end of a chain so he's got some catching up to do in terms of training but he's bright, amiable takes correction well. And when he's naughty, well, he's so cute it's impossible to get mad. He needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble.  If you'd like to meet Jason, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org.
